Our old rivals Nuneaton Borough are facing liquidation after resigning from the Southern League....

This is a sad situation for Nuneaton as it is for any club.
Has a familiar ring to it

I remember the Darts playing them in the old southern league ...always a tough opponent
So sad it rinds me of when the Darts folded in 1992?
Hopefully they will reform(with a lot of help)just like we did

I think this is the second time Nuneaton have found themselves in this situation in the last ten years. They had a guy rescue them financially about four years ago but that,bit looks, hasn't worked out for them.
I remember our last game up there, I think it was our last season in the National League Premier when we got trounced 3-0. The fans were waving us 'goodbye' when the third goal went in.
Funny how things turn around quickly. It's a shame but I hope they can survive in some form. I'm sure they will be back

Actually it was 3-1. We scored first, which got their backs up.
