Footballing legend and former England, Spurs & Barcelona manager Terry Venables has died at the age of 80 after a long illness.

As per Peter Martin “I was there that night and from what I remember, didn’t Terry score the only goal for Chelsea when they beat us 1-0 when opening the floodlights at Watling Street late 1963?”

I was in Barcelona at the time of Terry's downfall. I saw the two games against Seville and then the away game against Espanyol (what a game that was).
I was on a two week stay and Terry was home before me after getting the sack.
Big loss, great tactician and manager.
