Wakey wakey!

I don't have much confidence going into this game if last seasons match is anything to go by. Would like to see Dowse be a bit more positive and not set the team up to lose by the odd goal. Against Chelmsford, I counted 7 of our starting 11 have played as central defender's.
Personally, I would sooner see us lose by a greater margin if that means that overall we win more regularly.

I have very little confidence as like you jonty. But there is a glimmer of hope that Worthing aren't exactly setting the place alight as a few expected and have taken a few big defeats this season.
Plastic pitch, not the best places for us.
Not expecting anything to be honest. But you never know.

Again just a few hours before kick-off and only two comments on the match.
Let's not forget the majority on the forum are regular die hard fans so the lack of interest and apathy amongst us is imo very concerning.

I saw Worthing play recently. They press well. Good passing side, they play to their strengths, get the ball out to their wide men then get into the box to get on the end of the cross!!
Darts need to be on their game to get something tonight methinks??

What's a 'wide man' M1?

In fact , reading your post again I have hardly been inspired and can only see one result tonight.

That's basically what Chelmsford did and outplayed us.

Expecting one result tonight and that's a loss. Worthing were one of if not the best side we faced last season. And we are away, and on an artificial pitch.

My Confidence is at an all time low. No sign of any new signings to boost it either.

Hoping for a win , but won't be putting any money on one.
I just don't know where we are going at the moment.
Dowsons signings have not been very inspiring. Imo
We will do well to get a result tonight.
Our crowds are dropping off and it is beginning to look like a lower mid table finish.
The natives are not happy and it is fully understandable .

I love going to worthing , lots of mates there, but is it worth probably with travel and food a hundred quid night if go on coach to see the rubbish I’ve watched this year ? No. If we lose tonight and Saturday , season over.

Pleased to have the opportunity for another streamed game tonight. Still difficult to get to know the names of some of the players on a small screen, and just as difficult tonight without any live commentary. Just hope we can pull something out of the hat tonight.

Away game
Long journey
Artificial pitch
Not much width
Not much pace in midfield
Not many players getting in the box
Not much confidence in the team
I sincerely hope I am wrong but I fear a hiding 🫣

1 all
Keeper caught in possession and ball falls to Wall who bangs it in the empty net.
