Season Preview: https://puredfc.co.uk/season-preview-2023-2024-22

Our first match in partnership with new Club sponsors Anderson Travel is the trip to Weymouth, and we want to get as many supporters to Weymouth to support Dowse and our team for their first away match of the season.

As with everything currently, the cost of living crisis has meant that we have had to increase coach prices to remain in line with our costs. The Association does not set out to make a profit on coaches over the season, but last season, we had to cover a shortfall.

The cost of this coach to Weymouth will be £40 for DFCSA members (£45 for non-members) and we would need a minimum of 30 adults to make running the coach viable. Please book your space with Mick Austin on 07969 181796 as soon as possible. Bookings are needed by Saturday 5th August at the latest. This price is cheaper than going by train, and is door to door from Princes Park. The coach will depart Princes Park at 9am.

Please note, a £20 deposit will be required in advance of this match. As always, DFCSA membership is the best option for discounted travel, saving £5 on every trip you make.

First away game of the season tomorrow down at Weymouth. Not exactly a happy hunting ground for the Darts, but hopefully this side can buck the trend. Check out the match preview https://puredfc.co.uk/

Hoping the lads put in a grand effort against a bogey team.
Looking forward to a pre match drink in town.

M3 was shut, then M27 shut & just to rub it in they shut the M3 again just for luck!!!!
Dorset was gridlocked !!

A new keeper and centre half were a priority so glad to see Dowse has taken action there.

Personally not a fan of 1 month loans as it barely gives the players time to settle and form partnerships, and if the player turns out good they just end up going back to the parent club. Hopefully they are extended if required.

Nervous about today's game after last seasons away troubles.

Goalkeeper is Jack McIntyre from Accrington. Accrington only signed him themselves yesterday. Came through the Man City & Everton youth set ups

Interesting introduction of youth at the back. Goalie 20 and 6 ft 4 if I've converted from metric properly, and Golding just 19 on Thursday. Hope U23 experience good enough for the big boys league, but well done Dowse for getting in what he promised.

Good luck to the boys today and the hardy travelling supporters.

That’s one of the things I like about Dowse he doesn’t sugar coat things and takes action

0-1 long cross into the box and keeper fumbled it in the net.

Is this to us or them?
If it's to them perhaps a panic in the keeper area wasn't such a good idea.😳

Maybe a knee jerk reaction is not always a good idea, especially as Accrington sign him and then pack him off elsewhere straight away. Still, plenty of time to get something from it. It's not like it's the 85 minute.

Although judging from last week we'd still have 20 minutes to play.

Quite common to sign players and put them straight out on loan
