Despite rail work to rule,s I'm hoping to be up for this game. High expectations for an impressive home win and a chance to see the lads on the round table and on the halfway line.

Week to go and I cant wait . We played them first match last season albeit away .
Still no sign of the new kit though , I don’t know why we leave it so late and it seems to get later each year , surely the income it generates would have been welcome by now

I assumed as we have not heard anything about a new kit we would not be having one

I got told todat the new shirt is a black and white half to commemorate the shirt worn in the 1974 Wembley final !!!!!!

Having see a couple of friendlies can anyone say what are likely starting line might be come Saturday?

My first thoughts are the league is stronger than last year , at present we maybe a weaker less experienced side than last season any thoughts ?

We changed manufacturers last year so had a new home and away shirt . The home shirt will be new this seasons which will also be kept for the season after . The away shirt is staying the same abd will change next year

It wasn’t last year - Puma took over the season before last. We’ve had a new home and away shirt every season since.

I think we will line up like this if all are fit . Just a guess but there may be a couple of new signings yet according to AD.

After the pre season games any idea if we are any good?? Seems as mixed a picture as I can remember going into a season. Dowson usually gets it right so I wonder if it will all come good when the competitive stuff starts! Hope so!

We are a defensive team set up not to lose. While trying not to lose we hope that Cooke or Wilson produce something. We have been very poor against very average teams.
