Dartford will be playing in the burgundy strip due to:

"The Vanarama National League will again be supporting Shelter's #NoHomeKit campaign for the festive fixtures this year. Despite Covid-related postponements, last year's campaign was a huge success, with hundreds of clubs getting involved, altogether raising over £500k for the cause.

But as the cost-of-living crisis worsens, homelessness and unsafe housing conditions are affecting all of our communities. Organisations like Shelter, who help anyone facing homelessness or poor housing, whilst also fighting the systemic causes of the housing emergency, have never been more important.

With that in mind, we want to help make the second year of No Home Kit bigger and better. We encourage all our clubs to dedicate one home fixture across the Christmas period to the campaign. Most importantly, this means wearing No Home Kit for that fixture, and encouraging fans to get involved by swapping kits and donating.

National League General Manager Mark Ives said: “We are delighted to be working with Shelter once again on their #NoHomeKit campaign.

“We had an amazing response last year from the campaign and getting involved again was an easy decision.

“The football community know more than anyone how important the feeling of home is. Every 90 minutes, 25 households are made homeless. That is something we simply cannot ignore.

“For clubs who wish to take part, we are asking them to swap their home kit for their away or third kits for a fixture over the festive period to raise awareness of their devastating impact the housing emergency is having on lives across the country.”

Great performance on boxing day, a win at a ground where it is never easy to get a result.
On to Sunday and no doubt our oppo will be looking for revenge.
I had settled for a possible play off place but the championship is not out of our reach .
The league title looked an Ebbsfleet certainty a few weeks ago but how things change.
Hopefully another 3 points against WEBBED FEET who will no doubt be out for revenge.
Come on you Dartsssss!!

We Know they play attractive football. have a very good side and they have for quite a while but sometimes they don’t turn up against us at PP and we out fight them like they’re not up for it. Being a decent side ourselves we got a few wins over them in recent seasons at home . I’d be surprised if they are not more motivated than ever after last week so I think it will in some ways be harder.
However we’re at home and with our crowd behind the boys we can match and beat anyone at PP.

It will be a very tough game on Sunday. No doubt BOTH teams will be up for it.
I am sure that Dows will prepare the lads for battle though.
Mondays win was a brilliant result but for 90+ minutes we cannot take anything for granted .
SAME AGAIN PLEASE LADS!!

The good thing is that having been so far in front and raised the expectation levels to the point that anything less than the championship would be seen as a failure, Fleet must surely be feeling the pressure as they come into this game knowing should they lose, it would be their 7th defeat in their last 9 competitive games. That is an astonishing situation that wouldn't have seemed possible just a few weeks ago. Nevertheless, however ineffective their style of play appeared last week, we must not forget that it worked exceptionally well for a long time at the start of this season and it is highly likely that they will get back in their groove at some point soon, so after humbling them at their place, we have to expect them to be very fired up for the rematch. I am expecting things to be a lot tougher this week so we need to at least match, if not surpass, the high octane levels we hit last Monday.

That said, I don't think there's much pressure on our lads as most of us felt that the financial clout of Ebbsfleet & Havant would make third place about the best that the rest of the division could hope for, however, Dowse and the players obviously didn't get that memo. I don't know how they are doing it, but somehow we find ourselves with a real chance of opening up a 6 point lead at the top and piling even more pressure on the overwhelming title favourites. It's a great situation to find ourselves in and surely exceeds everyone's expectations. Dowse and the boys are doing us proud and we are very much in the mix for the title. I couldn't be happier with how things are going.

What a result on Boxing Day! Completing a double over Fleet would make it a very Happy New Year. I'm sure this time it will be a much different contest. It's very rare either team wins both league meetings so going to be another tough one. Here's an up to date preview (the one in the matchday programme needed to be written before the Boxing Day game, so it could go to print on time).

Happy New Year everyone.

No matter how you look at it this will be a tougher match for us. Fleet will be looking for some sort of revenge. In the second half at the Cuff-link they came at us more. ( Let's face it, they had to try and do something). Very fast and direct with Poleon??? probably their best bet for a goal.
Any news on Sam? it looked a nasty one.

The fact fl££t have lost a lot of games recently but are still in pole position and stand favourites for the league just shows how well our boys are doing. My head says they will be comfortable at the end but we are doing magnificently at the moment and if we can just push them as far as possible Dowse and the lads would deserve enormous credit.
We’ve a manager and squad to be proud of.

After a very enjoyable day out at the Fleet on Boxing day I can't believe they will naive enough to persist in their tactics of leisurely playing the ball out from the back. I expect they will use the pace of Darren McQueen who didn't feature in their team Boxing Day. I would settle for a scrappy 1-0 win. Any news on fullback Sam who was helped off the pitch at Ebbsfleet?

I doubt it, but I'd settle for anything that would maintain (or even widen) the present points gap.
