Josh Hill going to Dulwich apparentlyThe Duke wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 10:52 am Has Josh Hill called it a day after his season long injury ,NOT disappointed that Porter and Kalala have gone and Meade covered by Krystian Campbell signing , hope 1 of the keepers signs and [ a slimmed down] Keiron Murtagh and then just waiting [ patiently ] for new Dowse signings !!!!
Ronnie Vint signed a contract through to the end of the forthcoming season when he joined Dulwich in January, so he's unlikely to be leaving any time soon. The only other player already contracted to Dulwich for next season was former Bromley captain Jack Holland, the other regular centre back. Tyrone Sterling played mostly at centre back for Dulwich and he's gone to Dover. (Personally I feel he's much better as a left back.) Dulwich also had Taofiq Olomowewe, a loanee from Weymouth, as a centre back option and he's gone to Welling. Dulwich played with three centre backs for most of last season and only switched to a flat back four when injuries and loss of form intervened. I don't know much about Josh Hill, other than he scored the first goal in Dartford's win at Dulwich last August, but he may well be earmarked for a place in a back three alongside Vint and Holland.PeteSamson wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 12:49 pm So Josh Hill to Dulwich then. Does that mean he will link up with Ronnie Vint as a centre back pairing, or competing against Ronnie for a starting place?
Wouldn't mind seeing Ronnie back at PP, as a player who has come through our academy system, has experience with us at both NL South and NL itself. Earned himself a few Man of Match awards at Dulwich during his loan periods, but seemed to be out of favour with SK, even though, to me, he didn't seem to let the side down. Used to playing alongside Tom Bonner. Now approaching only his 26th birthday, he should be close to coming towards the best of his career.
Only my thoughts of course. But perhaps with Dowse now in charge, it could be a fresh start for Ronnie on familiar territory.
