Welling can't be as skint as we think or Peter is desperate to get back into management. Good luck to him.

Good luck to welling and Peter Taylor however being an ex dart I keep a close eye on what Taylor does. Sadly as far as I can see he is well past his sell by date and his methods are history
He won’t last long at welling

Reading on the Welling forum a few of their fans aren’t happy with the appointment and they want Goldberg out.
They want him to sell the club and be gone.

Don't really feel the need to have a Welling love in. Peter Taylor is at rock bottom, like the club he joins. It is what it is. Fools for letting the King go.

Their fans deserve better but the club has been poorly run for years.
Good luck to Taylor, he is gonna
need it.

He'll be able to come along and watch the Darts in action at Sudbury now.

It's a shame it hasn't worked out for Adam at Brentwood, he's a decent guy who gave his all when wearing a Darts shirt.

That he did. The management combo was an undeniable fail, but that doesn't diminish the huge contribution that both Flanners & Coyley made as players. Good luck to Adam, I hope he goes on to better things.

Welling let Steve King go solely because they couldn’t afford to supply the substantial budget he demands anymore. Generally wherever he’s been he puts together a great squad but it also generally comes with a higher cost than the average budget. Dartford have better finances than Welling I hope they are good enough to sustain SKs ambitions.

I think what alot of other clubs fans seem to forget Is that the reason we have " better finance's" is due to alot of hard work behind the scenes, we haven't had a rich sugar daddy come in and buy us up the league's like some other clubs have in our league.

Dartford are better run than Welling, but then again, so were Lehman Brothers.

Absolutely, and some clubs fail because the aforementioned sugar daddy wants to play Championship Manager with real players and can't help meddling in team affairs.

A manager can't DEMAND a bigger budget, he can only ask for one. Any manager who is not constantly seeking to improve the team is failing in his duty, any board of directors that acquiesce to financial requests beyond the club's means are failing in theirs. Fortunately, we don't have either problem at Dartford even though some people would like to believe otherwise.
