Dartford football stadium (Princes Park) has space for 304 cars, 16 motorcycles, 30 bicycles and has 4 coach bays. It is 11 feet from the Fastrack bus network. Street parking is available in the surrounding area & if you park sensibly, it should not be a problem.

Distance is just over a mile from station to stadium.

I thought the same a 24 hour delay would be an idea but I suppose that depends on Barnet.

The summer of '76 lasted several weeks. Fast forward to a Monday and Tuesday in July 2022 and a State of Emergency has been declared.

If Snowflakeism brings the country to a halt then I'd be up for a 3am kick off. If the bar is not open then we should be permitted to bring our own booze, have a party, and stick two fingers up to the limp wristed country we're becoming.

We're Non-League and made of sterner stuff. Bring the TV cameras down to record the most memorable pre-season game ever played. Not to mention a great question for future pub quizes the length and breadth of the country.

That's providing the great British pub is still in existence ofcourse.

I’m fully on board with this particular brand of snowflakeism. Wind, rain, snow - no problem. Covid? Load of old arse. But heat, I can’t stand. So if the game doesn’t go, I for one will 100% understand. Like the 3am idea though.

The game being called off is common sense. It's the fact that you have to explain why? is confusing. I'm just opening my 6th bottle of water of the day. Makes sense, I saw it on the news.

Why not delay the fixture by 24 hours?. Most other friendlies scheduled for tomorrow evening have either been rescheduled for Wednesday evening, had the kick off time put back by 30-45 minutes or been cancelled completely.

It will not be stupid hot [35ish] at 8pm so gives the lads a good chance of getting a sweat on , just allow water breaks say every 15/ 20 mins and all will be fine

I see walthamstows friendly with Witham tomorrow has been postponed due to a frozen pitch according to the club.Strange climate in walthamstiw clearly.

I see that Maidstone have canceled their game at home to Tonbridge due to the heat this evening. It's that or the pitch has liquified and run off down to the river. Sensible really.
