Well whatever happens now, our first play-off game is going to be at home, either in one of the two quarter-finals or the semis. Two wins over Braintree and Eastbourne would guarantee us third place and one less hurdle to promotion. We have to assume Ebbsfleet will win their remaining two games so this game against Braintree is now absolutely crucial and the only yhing that matters is the result. Win!

Very quiet on here, this has to be the biggest game of the season for me. As Spike says, we have to assume that £bbsfl££t will win both of their remaining games. As it stands we are in control of that all important third place.

Just had a look at SK's interview and it looks like we have a strong squad to choose from, despite Murtagh picking up a knock. Competition for places, team full of confidence and our goal difference improving. All building up nicely for those playoffs.

I have just watched the highlights of the Slough match from Saturday. Although we have used a large number of players this season, I made two observations. The first was that players were very much on the same wavelength as there were a number of very subtle touches and first time passes that found the teammate. The second was the team spirit. The players were constantly congratulating each other for good touches, tackles etc.

I am looking forward to the match this afternoon in the hope that we can take another step nearer to third place and home advantage in the play-off semi-final.

Ebbsfleet with a tough away game to Billericay who will need to give everything today as they could be confirmed as relegated if results don't go for them. I had this game down as one that they would drop points in, so hopefully we come away today as confirmed 3rd spot.

Need to make sure we do our jobs though before worrying about them

Also be good to beat them as if i recall they were the masters of the fine arts at their place so make sure we've got plenty of properly inflated match balls on the touchline

Would've thought Greenidge, Kalala and Dinanga all were going to start coming off the back of the weekend and trying to build consistency ahead of the playoffs. I guess there's no harm in resting them as long as we get the win...

Why, oh why, are we like this? Another 5 changes and another abysmal first half showing and lucky to be not 2 down. A scrappy 1-0 win please? C’mon Kingy, explain to ‘us’ what you see. Please!
