Climbing Snowdon Non League Legends (Dartford FC)
https://gofund.me/ddbd4ada

Former Dartford FC players - Elliott Bradbrook, Lee Burns, Jamie Coyle, Tony Kessell, Lee Noble, Alex O Brien, Tommy Osbourne, Rob Haworth, Ryan Hayes, Andy Young and Adam Flanagan are planning to climb Mount Snowdon on the 7th of May 2022.

The aim is to raise as much money as we can and support Adam Flanagan selected charity Winston's Wish. Winston's wish offer support to children who have lost a sibling or parent. Annually, the charity helps around 18,000 children going through a tough time each year. This charity is close to Adam Flanagan, whose brother died unexpectedly in March, aged 38 leaving behind a 3-year-old son.

The players have kept in touch over the years, and now they will come together to raise money for a truly great cause. We hope that the non-league community will come together and support us to see where we can take the fundraising target level. Having played non-league football, we have got to meet some great home fans and many opposition ones from whom we have enjoyed getting stick from. Hopefully, this is something that can be everyone can get behind.

A mid-week derby against Ebbsfleet doesn't quite feel the same, but I'm sure the players and the fans will give it their best shot. Will be a tough one for sure. Here's the preview https://puredfc.co.uk/

A mid week derby game under lights [ especially against Ebbsfleet ] adds to the atmosphere and if it gets a bit fiesty even the better , we really need to win this and the fans being noisy can be a big part of it !!!

Looking forward to this one , especially after Saturdays morale booster

Good luck to everyone tonight; bit too far for me these days for midweek evenings.

I notice that mention of former players walking up Snowdon for charity is tacked on to the first information post, which could easily be overlooked. More details under the Any Other Discussion link, but it ought to be more widely publicised. It's a worthy cause to help young children losing a parent too soon, as happened within Adam Flanagan's family, and nice to see so many of our former favourites still being mates and working together for this.

Hoping for a succession of Kent wins in the coming days.

It was originally posted in the "Any Other Discussion" topic, but thought we'd add it to all the match threads and also added it to the top of "https://thedarts.eu" on Sunday. Should it be moved from from Any Other Discussion to the main area?

We need to win this one to stay in touch. Anything but a defeat please lads. I hate losing to this crowd. Hope we have gotten over our injury scares for tonight.

Just to check, but is there any commentary of the 2nd half. There is plenty of fan noise, and referee whistle, but no commentary at all. Is the mic switched on or off? Cheers
