D’ya know what KC? I hate to say it but I couldn’t be arsed whether it’s on or off. Never been so ‘meh’ about a season. 🤦‍♂️

Disappointingly understandable

Hoping to get my footie fix with this one, although the weather is not looking great.
I see Bristol Rovers manager is blaming the Summer recruitment by the previous manager for their predicament this season. Struggling at the foot of League 2 looking over the precipice into non-league football. Just saying.
Hopefully, we can get a win tomorrow and stay on the edge of the play-offs.
Interesting game in Jersey tomorrow with Faversham.
Perhaps next season Steve (PL) will be adding a flight down to foreign shores should we not get promoted. Hope the ban has been lifted and he's got his passport back ;)

I’m sure it will be fine but is there any doubt about this game being on? The forecast isn’t terrible but there is a bit more rain due.

I think the term “must win games “ is used for games at various points if the season. Not winning today is not exactly gonna blow any chances, but honestly, If we don’t win there’s real cause for concern of what positions we expect to be challenging for this season.

The club will be desperate to get this game on today for cash flow reasons and if we are to stay in touch with the pack we can’t afford to lose this game as KC says. I hope Ady doesn’t over think this one and plays everyone in their natural positions.

Looking at the teams above us, I can only see Chatham as catchable. I just can’t see any of the other teams in the playoffs blowing up and as for Billericay, what a great run they are on. Just a pity we couldn’t get Danny Scopes signing on the dotted line for us. Managers are no different from players, some are just better at doing their job than others.

Looking forward to the game today and let’s get behind the boys for this one. COYD.

Hoping for a win obviously but I won't be surprised if we struggle.
Cray are no mugs and let's be honest
This Squad is a long way from our conferences south days.

I won’t call or email because there’s no point. Does anyone know if there’s a planned pitch inspection, it’s decent outside at the moment but the week has been pretty wet.

If the club is desperate for cash flow they should be more welcoming to young people

In my opinion this is a massive game in terms as where we are for challenging for the playoffs,
Lose today and I think that is it for us this season which would be a failure considering the 5 year plan,

Then we would have to ask questions of the management and I normally back the board on what they have done in the past except the sacking of Kingy but I think I do not know the whole story and just heard rumours

Good article on Oliver Glasner in the Mail today, not that I buy the paper but I read the back page while walking into lamp post's and dogdirt.
I have to recall where we were in 2004 and what we have done on a budget since 2006?
No offence to previous/present management (apart from the Northerner) but really, we haven't had a Tony Burman for a while and not likely to find one.
I am of a mind that we are likely to be in the IP next season and I don't think it will be from the lack of trying. Chatham are stuttering also, so I don't think it's over yet.
Get behind the lads today. If we win and others slip up then it's a whole new ball game, but we can't rely on others.
Looking forward to the game today.

For the statos out there we're currently on 47pts from 29 games, an average of 1.6 pts per game.

Carry on with that return until the end of the season and we'll end up with 68 pts.

In the last 4 seasons 67 pts got one team to 7th place, otherwise nowhere near the play offs.
So we will be well short unless we put a good run of results together to improve our points return....

If we can keep 11 players on the pitch, (hopefully without the need to sub anyone because they are "injured"), then that would be helpful. Also, all positions are important but goals win games and we have two prolific goalscorers. Hopefully we'll get to see at least one of them start today.
