DARTFORD WOMEN SQUAD UPDATES 2025-26

Best wishes to Amy Russ and Brionne Fowle who have gone up a level and will be playing in the National League after signing for Chatham Town and London Bees this season.
They've been fantastic for us and will never be forgotten.
Likewise with Emily Woodhouse, Emily Vaughan and Poppy Payne who have also moved on and I wish them every success for the future.
All these players were not only loved by the supporters but still are and it will be great to see them back at Princes Park if they have time, fixtures and other commitments permitting.
Connor and Macca have brought some great players to this club so it's a big moment in time for them. They'll need all their resources and contacts to replace Bri, Russy and Vaughany in particular from a positional perspective. Basically we've lost our three best players who, when it comes to aerial combat, will always get you goals from crosses inside the box.
It will be absolutely brilliant to see a fully fit Emily Read back in action. But the million dollar question is. Who's going to get on the end of her crosses?

Devastating news for Emily Read who's had a setback during the recovery process from her ACL injury and will now be stepping back from football. I was really looking forward to seeing her back in action this season as I've no doubt we all were.
I've also heard another member of our squad has recently moved on to pastures new. It hasn't been publicly confirmed yet but it will be another huge loss to the squad, leaving behind another massive pair of boots to fill.

It sounds like our Dartesses, including new recruits, had more useful minutes yesterday.
A 3-0 friendly win Away at Tonbridge was incidental but welcomed. Well done all.

Tonbridge Angels are in Tier 7 - South East Counties League Premier Division and finished as runners-up last season.
After their disastrous start on Wednesday evening they gave Darts a good game and at sometimes hard, but fair.
I'm sure there was plenty that Connor & Macca got out of the game, and the players too.
