This is the FOURTH time that the fixture has been postponed!!

In the old days the season would have been extended as a number of clubs in the South West have similar fixture pile-ups - but these days with promotion play offs the FA won't budge on finishing dates

One idea being suggested is they play the game away but as the home side so they get the gate money, thats a big no from me

I’ve said before and I know it’s absolutely not the way to look at it positively but it is reality.
We must, must ensure that if we do finish in the relegation places we do so by being the highest placed relegated team.
You just never know what will happen.

That’s a very good point. Clubs are docked points or go to the wall all the time especially at the season’s end.

A number of people at Gloucester City this evening were saying Taunton are going to be playing their home matches at Meadow Park - if true 3 clubs will be playing out this season's matches at the same ground!

Taunton have made 3 new signings today as today is the last day for signing players I believe.

One of the signings has been in the pipeline for a couple of weeks. Dan Lavercombe, their goalie, broke his leg and goalkeeping coach Lloyd Irish has been playing. The Wellington keeper has signed on dual reg as they only have the one option

Looking at the League Table Truro did themselves a power of good yesterday with a victory over Slough that moved them up the table. We are now clinging on in the hope Taunton can't make their games in hand count. Eastbourne must be beaten Monday.

Apologies for my interest but I can’t help it, it maybe a weakness in me but I had to watch Dowses interview after yesterdays game.
It’s classic Dowse, the the normal paraphrases are there.
The overall tone was, he never blames players and he’s taken all the criticism for the team but today he’s going to criticise the back 4 individually, and he did.
Hilarious from the fraud.

And he said he’s signed Tom Bonner?

Hemel away to Braintree, tough game.
Taunton home to bath.

Not impossible these results go our way, if we can win then these two are dragged closer to it.
There would be the minutest of light but light none the less.

The National League have instructed Taunton to play tonight's game against Maidstone at Gloucester's stadium. I think it would be safe to assume Taunton failed their planned pitch inspection and have no choice but to follow the leagues orders to ensure they get their games done.
