Matt Burgess here aka The 5th Searcher. I’ve been a Darts fan since 18mths old when my dad Trevor B first took me to a game and I’ve been going ever since and I’m 45 now.
Go to almost every home game and try to get to a few away games when possible. I can normally be found in the far end of the bar by the tv with Trevor B, The Duke, Gilsey and some of the other fans and always behind the goal we are attacking during the match.

Dave. I can blame Gary Clark for that, as back in the day, as he added bits to the site, I suddenly found myself officially declared as the Bishop of Tranmere. It stuck, and I am quite proud of it to be honest!!

I am a season ticket holder at both the Darts and Tranmere. Sometimes I get asked who would I support if the two teams ever get to meet, and my answer is always the same - it has to be, and always will be, the Darts!!

The Bishop. Isn't it grand to have a title Duke! :D

My name is Paul Burnett. I felt the need to adopt an anonymous username when joining the forum because I had been led to believe - rightly or wrongly - that there was another DFC supporter with the same name (though not a member of my family as far as I am aware). I'm not sure precisely how long I've been following the Darts, but I was born in 1947 and my Dad started taking me when I was quite small - in the early to mid-1950s? - so I reckon I've been a supporter for at least 67 years. I adopted the forum name Silverado because quite coincidentally I had just a seen a western of that name on TV and by then my hair had long been silver-grey. I attend as many home games as possible and the occasional local away game (eg Welling, Ebbsfleet, Tonbridge, FA Cup and Trophy). I can usually be found in the seating area about 10 yards down from the edge of the penalty area at the Academy end (and I don't change ends at half-time), often accompanied by my learning disabled son Chris, whom many of you may recognise more readily than me.

I travelled on that train to Bristol City as well sitting in the same coach as Johnny Ripley & Lou Cooper and by coincidence I also stand behind the goal just to the right of the goal post and I doubt we will recognise each other but it would be nice to put a face to the name

I know the hardcore and want the youth to know they’re doing great.

Say it how I see it and don’t suffer fools easily.

Always tried to support the club financially over the years so, season ticket holder, shareholder and defender of the Black and White.

Always up for a chat.

Gary Clark. Holder of the microphone, controller of the scoreboard. You may remember me from such projects as the Club book or the old forum

John Jonty Aldous, right-handed top-order batsman, wicket-keeper & medium fast right arm over the wicket. My first game was back in 73 and I stand to the right, just behind the goal with many others on here, including a certain retired international porn star.

HantsDart here. AKA Barry Bennett.

My dad first took me to Watling Street when I was 3 years old, so a lifelong supporter. Have lived in exile in Basingstoke since 1984 but still manage to get to most home games and several away fixtures. Season ticket holder and shareholder.

Meet up from 12.30 on matchdays at the round table in the bar for a chat with Gilesy, The Duke, Trev, John, et al. Watch the game from the halfway line.

Grassbank - sometimes known as One-a-day-Wellsy - Phil Wells.

Taken to watch the Darts by older brothers in October 1973 to see the Darts beat Chelmsford 2-1 (Burns, Glozier - att. 1,446) and a life-long fan ever since. Those that visited Watling Street will know why Grassbank. What a vantage point - could be slippy when wet and would no doubt not be allowed by todays sterile rules.

When younger football dominated weekends and I managed 41 of 42 matches in the Conference in 81/82 - missing a midweek trip to Yeovil. Motorsport then became another passion and many matches have been missed whilst I have been competing and watching across the UK and into Europe.

Would love to reach 1,000 matches with Dartford before I move or drop dead. Only another 137 to go, another six years at the current rate.

Usually behind the goal, although sometimes watch from elsewhere for a different perspective.

Have many great memories and good friends from my time with the Darts.

There are, and I wouldn't be surprised to find that hidden amongst them is a long time denigrator of all things DFC who has reinvented himself with a new name. Maybe building credibility by posting a few semi-positive comments, with a view to playing the long game.

I'm Mike Smith by the way (Park Life's brother). I'm the Mike Smith who did the "Light at The End of the Tunnel" fanzine, not to be confused with the late DFC director, Mike Brett-Smith who sadly passed away back in 2015.

Have known Steve for a while but not to talk to, he would always talk to my mate Pat. But I do remember him playing for the Dartford Supporters in the NKSL back in the day.

Ozy come and say hello next home game so when we are having our next "disagreement" we can have it face to face rather than bore everyone else on here😀😀🤣🤣

Oh, I see. Just because I call your brother 'the handsome one' you want to meet me. :D
May do that but I think you'll recognise me once you see me. I was always hanging with Patsy. He and I passed our referee's course together as well as playing for Bean YC/Colyers back in the day.
