It's not about signing our favourites or new names, it's to be appreciated how / when they successfully play as a forceful unit, under our new head coach Ben.
Maybe Calum's now feeling leggy, after all that running for us, especially in 2024/25.
Thank you and good luck, Callum Jones Jones...

Disappointing to see Jones leave but he never found the same form last season as he had in 24/25. Wouldn't be surprised to see him at another IPL side next season
Indeed. As he good do no wrong in the eyes of Pennock, I’m guessing he’ll be unsubbable for Ramsgate next season.

Callum was a great player in his first season, almost superb but his 2nd season just wasn’t the same at all. Almost a headless chicken at times spending more time on the floor than on his feet.
The unsubable has been permanently subbed.
How long before the news come out from Ramsgate that he’s signed for them.

Callum had a great first season with and yes, he was a hard worker on the pitch. Second season still put in a fair shift with not much luck in front of goal.
Will be remembered for for his first season more than anything. But maybe it was time to move on.
Will do another club whoever gets his signature.

Somehow I don't see him going to Ramsgate.

Looking forward to the next season.
Some new faces and some from the last campaign.
Under Pennock we were a top 6 team but imho not top 3.
All the best to our new manager and his new look squad.

I wish Callum luck the same as I would for any footballer whether they play for Dartford or not. However I am overjoyed as a Dartford fan because his play is the most pointless I have ever seen in a footballer.Running around endlessly for no apparent reason and furthermore running into defenders and sticking to them rather than trying to be free from them.
I hope he rocks up at Ramsgate to play for Pennock, they suit each other.
This moment can only be bettered in pre season when I read that Olly George Sam and Jez are staying for another season.

I know but naturally I am nervous until the season starts as I assume if a bigger club wants one of our four best young players they will be allowed to leave if the player desires it, for a fee of course
I just want them to start the season and if we start well they could stay all season

I am pleased also that Bland and McLeod have signed. Having waited a while for Sammy to get over his injury he got better as the season went on and finished very strongly.

Have to say I was quite surprised to see us retain Mcleod. Thought he had one half decent performance last season but thought he looked very below standard and struggled to make the matchday squad when he was fit. Hopefully with a full 2 months rest and a full pre season he’ll show signs of improving

i also think it is worrying especially regarding the players they were in conversation with from last season,
I suppose they could be holiday or are they keeping their options open.

Despite his poor start to the season, he actually grew on me. Great shot-stopper but his decision-making let him down (not helped by a chaotic back line for most of the season)
Wish him well, personally I’d take Marsden back

Well there you go. As soon as the season closed I wanted to see the back of Ade , all his coaching staff, Callum , Michael and Jonny. I got my wish but I hope it doesn’t bite me in the bum. I feel sure we can do better in all these positions and time will tell.
Roll on the new season

Goes without saying I wish them all luck in their new clubs but hopefully we finish above them all

Rambo, your views on here are normally adroit. Henly had a mountain to climb in order to undo his poor start and to his credit, he did manage to get most of the fans back on side eventually. Olurewaju was a walking red card and a dubious captain. Why Jones was so much less effective than the previous season is still a head-scratcher.
One of our biggest problems last season was losing Carruthers and our manager not knowing the extent of the injury (or lying about it). I personally lost faith in Pennock after that particular debacle.
