I Couldn't give a toss about Pennock and his pals leaving. Imho they were pretty average.
I hope that our board can come up with a manager who can give the fans some hope.
we need to get back to the Connie south asap.
But unless we can get more investment I can only see another underachieving season.

Really disappointing we've had no announcement, statement or info of any sort from the club, we've not even advertised the post?
I hope we don't go down the "he's a nice bloke" route or any old player will do....
Also hope whoever does the interviews knows what their talking about and sells the club in a positive manner?? What i'd give to be a fly on the wall.....
The last two supposedly nice blokes moaned about the budget for the majority of their tenures and imo this was to cover for their failings, after all they must have agreed to it at their interviews. The board should have clamped down on this from the start as all it's done is create a massive negative downbeat atmosphere at the club. Our budget whilst not the biggest is still competitive and the fact we got results against the top sides and struggled against the lower ones backs that up. I still believe the squad we had was good enough to get in the play offs but under achieved because of poor management.
So i'm not in the least bothered that Ady has gone and i've spoken to loads of fans and honestly not found a single one who was disappointed, which leaves me wondering what plans the board had as the rumours of him going where around for a few weeks?
Having said that as poor as it's turned out, i won't criticise the board for the last two appointments as both looked promising and there wasn't any real objections at the time.
As for the future, who knows who will get the job and regardless of the two previous managers negativity, we still have a great club and a it's a fantastic opportunity for someone to come in, lift the mood and fulfil our potential.

I still think it’s a bit early to be concerned about ‘no announcement yet.’ There’ll be all sorts of meetings and shenanigans going on. But it needs dealing with very soon so the future can be as settled.
Who do we want?
Who do we don’t want?

The only way to get DFC back where it should rightly be at the top of the non league pyramid
Is to get a complete new board
It will not matter what manager comes in
A lack of supporters through the turnstiles and a some crazy decisions by this board won’t add to the new managers budget
I have heard the comments about the board basically saying people in this forum haven’t got a clue , I realised some six years ago their ambition was not the same as the genuine fans
So my pals and myself voted with our feet and just became I suppose “armchair” fans
I applaud the diehards you really have sat in and supported the club , but many are now coming to terms with the fact this board are basically inept and clueless , you have to make the gamble in football and I truly believe we could have been watching Dartford in the football league
But I believe the clubs owners didn’t want to take the gamble, which has proved them very wrong , just look at Bromley and a good few other smaller clubs that have overtaken Dartford in the last five years
If you genuinely want fans back start taking notice of your fan base and start to run the club more professionally, Yep maybe I’m a “keyboard warrior” as I heard with my own ears from a prominent person at the club
But our circa £100 between us on admission and food etc has gone and unless this board don’t grasp this then they are obviously not in the business of running a jewel in the crown of Kent
I sincerely hope changes are afoot and I return to PP next season to follow the team
Even though we moved away from the area I continue to follow the club via here every game
Much respect to the diehards who followed the club home and away this season

Does this really surprise you, why would we do an announcement informing the fans of what is happening.
It goes to show much the board thinking of the hardworking fans that turn up week after week and pay good money!

We have great facilities and with the right management and investment we could really progress.
I don't now the exact dates but we were relegated from the conference premier 10 or so years ago and then relegated from the conference south around 3 years ago ..
We have now stagnated in this Ryman league
and a lot of our fans are very dissapointed, ( including
Me)
I completely agree with several other fans on here that we need to WAKE UP in the boardroom and bring in a manager who can attract the right players to get us out if this league.
Otherwise Dartford fc will become an also ran in this ryman league ...going nowhere fast!!

Have heard that Park Life has thrown his hat into the ring for an under-budget option. (Season ticket and beer.)
We can’t have that now can we?
So Tony H and I have decided to have a go for another one of those doomed to failure ‘Hinge and Bracket’ partnerships. Doubt we’ll get it though cos our beer requirement will be well over budget! Though we have put our combined £100 Warbler win into the coffers. That should at least retain one or two players! (Not naming them!)

Would there be any merit in considering Samir Carruthers. Now just turned 33. He knows the Dartford setup. He knows the current players and which he would like to keep. Has a footballing brain. Fans seem to have liked him and we seemed to miss him when he wasn't playing. If fit, he could be a player manager. He has been around at above our current level, so likely to know a few players. Just my thoughts.

When I asked Samir on Saturday how his leg was he said it wasn’t good at all, I think his playing days are now over.

Would be my choice if we went down that route. Was like a manager on the pitch for us at times and could always see his passion. Do think it seems highly unlikely though as he’s recently took up barbering and seems to be really enjoying it.
I personally think we’ll end up with a safe option, Neil Smith, former Cray Wanderers manager and recently assistant manager of Crawley Town. Wouldn’t be my choice but do think it’s the type of appointment the board will be all over, wouldn’t shock me if he also added Tom Bonner to his coaching staff as he signed him after his first retirement.

If Samir is becoming a barber, then that would surely allow him flexibility in splitting his hours between his job and his attention to DFC duties. Could even do some haircuts on the team bus to away games. Oops, silly suggestion, too many potholes on our roads nowadays!
