A good summing up Park Life. The Worthing 2nd goal was a screamer, but on the streaming, it looked as though it took on a massive swerve to the right to creep in the right hand upright. As you said, the Darts could have easily been a couple of goals down early doors if Worthing had taken their chances. It is for those reasons that I was very uncomfortable even at 1-3 up, that Worthing were more likely to score, which of course they did to make it 3-3, and looked the more likely to go on and win the game. But equally, Worthing looked very vulnerable at the back, which finally proved to be their undoing. Have to agree with your MoM too Steve, and Archie Woods also gets my vote too.

Some interesting defending from Worthing but you still have to be there to put the ball away.

At the time, I felt that Woking gifted us our goals and it was more about them losing the game, rather than us winning it. But watching the match back again and with the benefit of hindsight, I think I did our lads a disservice. Knowing that they like to play the ball out from the back, Dowse got the tactics absolutely spot on and we applied the press perfectly. Lots of hard work from the Darts, closing Worthing down at the right times and forcing the errors. Okay, we let 3 goals in, which is never good, but we've all been moaning about games being boring and Tuesday night's game was anything but that. You have to give credit where it's due and that was an unexpected and very welcome victory over a decent footballing side. MOTM has to be Archie, whose work-rate, enthusiasm and positivity played a massive part in the win.

Looks like if we can keep Wall fit and on the pitch then we have a massive goal threat so feels like he holds the key to where this season ends up. Pointless winning away to then go and lose at home so let’s string some wins together!
