Very clinical performance against a depleted # side Thought every player that started and were subbed on did their job today. Looks like Brentwood will be the ones to catch if we’re being optimistic

Can only play what’s in front of you. A thoroughly professional performance very well done. Now hopefully that’s installs confidence in the tougher games to come.

This team is good enough to finish in the play offs it’s just our consistency that has let us down.
I believe we will get closer to the teams above if we keep
Playing like this and the crucial game against Chatham might just decide if we have a fighting chance to take it to the last game for qualification into the play offs.
Chatting to Pinders dad he seemed super proud of his boy which he should do bcus he played a blinder today .
Thought it was a poor turnout for non league day TBH we need to do more to promote our games when we have a chance to pull in big crowds, how many didn’t come today who if they had known about the offer would have attended and with a 7-0 win I feel it was a missed opportunity to build our fan base once again

Forgot to mention I thought Evans looked really good when he came on and I think if we stay in this division next year we should re-sign him.
Didn’t play like a 36 year old and he had plenty of ability taking people on , reminds me of Luke W

Like i’ve stated before I thought every player played well today but I thought Luther and Evans were both superb when they came on. I’d like to see them both start a game on the same side, with Sam in midfield.

Only one slight controversy today, which I didn’t understand. The referee blew her whistle on 90 minutes with no extra time. She can’t just make up the rules because she feels sorry for them. It probably should have been at least an extra 4 to 5 minutes. May not be important but in terms of gold difference the referee can’t do that. It may only be a small thing considering but it may count.

An easy no stress watch for a change. We are on a good run of form with some very good performances throughout the team. I really liked Evans contribution and I hope we see a lot more of him for the rest of the season. Well done to everyone particularly Jeramiah who is a superb prospect.
A brilliant result today, so a massive well done to the team and especially Jez for his hat-trick. Don’t get to as many games as I’d like these days, but glad I made this one. Admittedly Hashtag’s defence was poor, but we took the chances, countered well for the first two goals and boosted our goal difference. Good performance and hopefully we can continue our good form and extend our season.
Just a few other stats…
Biggest home win since the 9-0 London Senior Cup victory versus Cockfosters on 16/11/2021 - included an Emmanuel Sonupe hat-trick
Biggest home win in the league since 7-1 v Oxford City on 19/08/2017 - Warren Mfula scored hat trick
Joint biggest home league win since 28/02/1987 when we beat King’s Lynn 7-0 in the Southern Premier League

As a footnote Cockfosters played Punjab today in the first leg of the Vase semi final so don't feel to sorry for them.

Credit must go to the players for getting the job done in bizzare circumstances. They could easily have just sat back after going a few ahead but they kept going to the end and boosted our goal difference.
Although we won emphatically i dont think we can gauge anything from this game and we will be tested a lot more next week away to Carshalton as they are on form after drawing at Folkestone yesterday and winning their previous three.
MOTM - PINDER
As for Hashtag, first of all massive credit to their players for tuning up and playing considering the diabolical position they have been put in.
I've never been a fan of this keyboard club and never will be and all the rumours of asking to go down 1 or 2 divisions and possibly merge with Redbridge have made a farce of the league. We stuffed them yesterday because in all honesty their players were just going through the motions and it's possible thats likely to be the case for their remaining games. How is that fair on the clubs who have already played them and lost points, it's a joke. I cant see how they can be allowed to "drop down" as they might get promoted again and then what happens? It's a mess and all down to them.
I didn't see them complaining about the money in football when they were progressing through the divisions. It's the same old story with a lot of clubs, when you hit the level where your "plaything" is no longer succesful, all of a sudden it's not fair.
