Fantastic result ( and attendance). Seems like we have really stamped out a message now. Some great results recently, but today is over and above.

Ade and Roland are really churning out the right results and performance's from this squad.
Oh, us of little faith.
Dover are beginning to look over their shoulder now.

Horrible weather but an enjoyable afternoon.
A really hard working and professional job of containment followed by surgically taking the points without ever looking like we were going to let the Chats have a sniff of winning this game.
George hit the shot that deflected in to get the first.
Nice to get into the (warm) bar at the far end of the ground at half time and get a drink without any queueing.
Splendid work by the Darts fans throughout the game which the lads showed their appreciation of at the end.
It feels good to be a Dart again!

A great win today against a decent Chatham side , it was another wet and and windy one . First half was not much to write home about but as we have down so often this season we upped our game in the second half and ran out worthy winners
A George Whitefield cross is turned into his own net by the Chatham defender
Eddie Dsane scores Dartford’s 2nd v Chatham Town

Felt like the old coni national days today, big crowd, amazing atmosphere and a large Darts away following

Never looked like losing after the first 5 mins where they had a succession of corners and put us under a bit of pressure after that there only looked like one winner.
Love the slick passing movement throughout the side and the subs all seem like they are giving us massive strength in depth all putting in a shift and Dsane scoring the second.
COYD’s ! The home game versus Billericay looking like it could be another massive game for us in the race for the title

What a grand day out Gromit! Got that soaked that even THAT bit that never gets wet got wet! Great win that in front of a bumper crowd. Dunno how many Darts fans were there but we made ourselves heard in their stand second half, so much so that when we scored, it sounded like a home game. Well done Ade and the lads!
Re: Chatham Town v Dartford Wed 1 Jan 2025
It was cold, windy and p*****g it down all day but that result more than makes up for it.
Always going to be difficult for both teams to play in those conditions but after some early pressure from Chatham the first half was pretty even with neither side dominating.
Second half we got better as the game went on and ran out worthy winners against a decent Chatham side.
All the squad are contributing especially from the subs bench when it's difficult to come on in circumstances like today.
Eddie coming up with another "special", this time form the other side which sealed the victory.
A very good crowd today swelled by a considerable contingent of Darts fans.
Does anyone know if everyone in Chatham is hard of hearing????
Because they must be as it was like being in a bleeding nightclub the volume they have it pumping out, even in the bar
MOTM - Lots of solid performances, Bullas had another decent game but i gave it to Denzele.

I recon about 5-700 Darts there today, gave MOTM to Bullas although everyone played well if only we had this side last season we wouldn’t have gone down !Park Life wrote: Wed Jan 01, 2025 7:15 pm It was cold, windy and p*****g it down all day but that result more than makes up for it.

Four games over a very busy Christmas period, and 4 wins. Happy New Year everyone.
Another decent scalp for us today but, like Folkestone and Cray Wanderers, Chatham lacked the cutting edge of a Dover side - BUT THAT WILL CHANGE!
Superb team performance in horrendous conditions, making a choice for MoM difficult. Bullas again superb, Marsden solid between the sticks, Jones hard-working and Michael a rock at the back. For consecutive games my vote goes to Bullas.

Yep. I couldn’t stand under the shelter of the ‘shed’ at the side because of the volume. So bad was it that it distorted. I was waiting for the speakers to pop! And that fkin air horn!! Must’ve been a new Xmas present with only one canister cos it quickly ran out. Thank feck!Park Life wrote: Wed Jan 01, 2025 7:15 pm I

All said and done though I am in admiration of Chatham and all they have done to turn crowds from 200 at best when we were in the coni national to an average well above ours!
Lots of things they do (other than the speakers) we could take on as a club, their pricing is better than ours and the overall atmosphere pre match etc feels more premium.
There are only 2 things we can match them on and that’s catchment area “we should be matching their crowds” and fortunately our team is better but how long can we sustain that with half their crowds?
Still a great day to be a Darts fan

Sorry, I found their “MC” very irritating (and that’s me being polite!) so they can keep that to themselves. And the choice of music pre-match - great if we were in a drug-fuelled hacienda club back in the 80’s, but that’s a sports stadium for goodness sake. I did approve of the Elvis track pre- and post-match though!!Bagdhad Billy wrote: Wed Jan 01, 2025 8:31 pm All said and done though I am in admiration of Chatham and all they have done to turn crowds from 200 at best when we were in the coni national to an average well above ours!

Not all things were perfect however would love for us to be able to match their attendances at PP.
Think we travel in better numbers than most of the league we certainly had more there today than they had at ours and yes it was New Year’s Day with no prem football but the weather would have put many of today as well.
Happy with how we are playing and feel more professional on the pitch which will bring fans back I’m sure! Long may it continue
