Didn't post after the game yesterday as i was previously engaged and on yesterdays performance, i decided to take full advantage 🍺🍺🍺🍺

There's a different atmosphere around PP now both on and off the pitch and it was the first time in ages i really enjoyed the whole match day experience. As has been said the changes to PP have had a positive effect for the fans and the team are starting to show encouraging signs.

On yesterday's showing there were a lot of positives to take as we played some decent football and were still full of running at the end. Overall there were chances at both ends and at times it was a pretty open game but i felt we edged it and deserved the win.

We've played much higher opposition in the recent friendlies and other than a few times we've given the ball away in defensive situations, the players have done well. Not going to single out anyone but there have been a lot of good performances and if Ady can tweak a few things before the start of the season, the signs are looking good. Add another 3 or 4 players with the same ability and commitment, we should be in good shape come the start of the season.

Well done Ady, his team and the players. I'd forgotten how enjoyable football can be.

I liked the Trialist No24 who played at centre back but unfortunately went of after 20 mins , hope he has not picked up a nasty injury and is still in the frame for us to [ possible] sign as he looked a powerfull player and be a shame [ based on 20mins] IF we missed out

As a trialist I guess it QT on who he was ??????????????

They looked right off the boil and agree with M1, i can't see them going back into the EFL anytime soon.
Thought we looked a little leggy but it was very warm out there. Callum looked sharp as did Duane,

gave up watching their highlights as after every attack they showed their badge. about 6 times in less then 2 minutes.
rather have zero highlights (like us) then watch that shower of shit.

Result although only a friendly looks promising ! Got to be honest I think we have some players this year who will do well number 28 has looked great in the games I’ve seen him so far this pre-season.

Fingers crossed a few more signings and Samir back fit and we will be challenging this season !

Thought it was Pinder but didn’t want to embarrass myself with the wrong name 🤣🤣

We should have blooded in a few more than just Box last season and we might of actually had a chance of staying up!

Looking forward to seeing more prospects coming through this year and going by comments on the Sutton forum they thought we looked like a good side. Our opponents on match day 1 beat Welling Saturday so it should be a decent tussle for us to start the season with…
