By not extending our lead when opportunities arose was always going to be a problem. Both goals were avoidable and those individual errors cost us the points and I have come to the conclusion that this group of players will take us down unless we get an influx of new signings or a new manager in ASAP. This is no fault of TB, last night he was let down again by a couple of individuals, which will continue until new faces come on board.

On a lighter note, it was good to talk to Skip again and I should also mention Pete Sampson who made his pilgrimage to PP on Saturday. We might not be doing so great on the pitch but at least things are much better on a social level again. I will be looking in regularly as a decision needs to take place immediately. Whether that is with wholesale changes to the team or a new manager to put those changes in place.

That’s nice,

TBs subs were a terrible decision, either he is not getting across the right message or some of the players are not listening. There is no leaders organising at all so the corner we lost our first goal to was a joke. Two on the corner with one of us and one completely free on the edge of the box as well leading to the goal.
We threw away this game with nothing but our own fault and some seem to just accept it.

But not to worry because the social level is going well and this is what this boys club is all about.
Way too many club errors and people wonder why ambition is questioned.

Avely took a decent amount of fans and if it wasn’t for them plus all season tickets included in the total figure regardless of attendance I wonder what was the actual attendance of Dartford fans.

The team is in decline with no accountability and the club is in decline off the pitch too, it’s slowly happening right in front of your eyes and now you’re all going to say anything to prove this wrong but it’s in front of you.

Yesterday was a disaster because it’s completely our fault and our doing and contrary to the lovely comments on here how we worked hard etc, well some absolutely do yes but watch the bloody game properly, some absolutely are not.

We’re in massive trouble and it’s mostly down to the club, but as long as it’s socially in a good place it’s ok because that’s more important at Dartford FC.

Bitterly disappointed. Weren't there but saw Fumnaya had scored and felt we could get over the jinx of getting a win by going on to maybe get another goal.
But as with a lot of games, we faltered with another late show. You can't blame Tony, he is doing his best. Really though he is with lads that are lacking confidence and quality.
At least if we are looking more likely to be relegated the successful candidate for manager knows what he is getting himself into.
We only have Worthing Saturday and the prospect of away games at Torquay and Yeovil.
I really am despairing.

Yes I agree Ozy
We are in trouble but all we can do is try and pick up enough points to stay up.
I am NOT impressed with our squad but it is what it is

We are not getting much from the clubs we ought to be beating to get any chance of staying up.
We are playing like a relegated side.
You can blame who you like but this has been coming since last summer. A lot of people recognised that at that time including myself.
It has never been an 'l told you so ' moment for me. You didn't have to say anything with the clown 🤡 who was in charge. For me, it was a forgone conclusion. Getting rid of him could have been quicker but by then, the damage was done.
I may get some more away games next season is the only plus for me.
Unless we can rely on other clubs I can see little chance of NLS football at PP next season.

My first visit to Princes Park since the first game of the season (3-3 draw v Bath) and my subsequent house move. That match and last night’s defeat had so many similarities where the Darts looked in reasonable control but were unable to collect three points due to defensive frailties and poor decision making. I really enjoyed the first 80 odd minutes only for a 4 minute horror show to undo all the previous endeavours. Frequent contact with Spike and Park Life about the team’s season long issues meant I was pretty much prepared for the events that unfolded. It appears that only a major shakeup in the playing staff can arrest the slide and that will only happen when the new management team is in situ; although I wouldn’t expect any significant changes before the season closes. So it looks like our first relegation since dropping out of the NL 10 years or so ago is very much on the cards, unless the new manager can galavanise this squad and potential loanees and claim sufficient points.

On another note it was really good to meet up with many old mates and acquaintances during the evening. Shame it didn’t coincide with Pete Samson’s visit. I’m not sure my appearance contributed to the downward spiral in the club’s season although a couple of posters obviously have a different view on mixing football and socialising. Mad really when you think that‘s what actually binds many people to their club…especially during the lean times.

It's embarrassing to have that scote taking pops at fellow fans for daring to mention enjoying their friendships. Most of us see supporting the Darts as a hugely social enterprise and interaction with kindred spirits most certainly part of the attraction.
Perhaps he's Billy no mates

It’s pretty much only the social aspect that has kept me coming to PP (and the occasional away game) this season. Our small group provide more entertainment than the Darts that’s fer sure!

I have to agree with you Gary it was good to meet up with you in the bar for a chat before the game and last Saturday I met up with Pete on one of his rare visits from being shared with Tranmere.
On both occasions that enjoyment ended at some point during the games but as I have a season ticket I will be there again this Saturday more for the enjoyment of banter sitting at a regular table in the bar with around 8 -10 regular fellow fans trying not mention too much about the team their performance and what is expected during the game as that is becoming almost a foregone conclusion but you never know we might just win this time :?: :?: :?:
