Great performance today against a really horrible Aveley side . So many nasty tackles and IMO they could have had another couple sent off . Always nice to beat a team of hatchet men
Olopade scores Dartford’s 1st v Aveley
Tennent scores Dartfords 2nd v Aveley

Good performance from the lads throughout the team. Even McLeod showed a few good touches.
Tennant, Okoye and Jones were exceptional, but everyone played their part.
Back 4 were made to work but Aveley were poor in front of goal, apart from hitting the bar they hardly caused Jonny trouble.
Okoye is so fast down the line, Callum was non stop and probably deserved the sponsor's motm.
But for me Joe gets my MOTM. Excellent performance and a deserved goal to top it off.

It makes a change for an away team to moan about a ref being assessed at a PP game. We usually appear to bear the brunt of performances for the assessor. Perhaps we make the assessors experience too enjoyable and that is the reason they keep coming back to PP. I would hope that they have to assess across a range of venues to prevent some teams suffering more than others.

A well deserved win against a team of thugs. Aveley are a disgrace to football and if a manager condones dangerous thuggery like that he should be sacked. I was shocked at his long it took the ref to flash a red.
We should have led 3-0 at half time so I was very nervous until the second goal was scored.
I thought George and Joe had magnificent games and Dan Smith was superb in the first half with his flicks and feints to put teammates into play and he was a constant menace to the aveley back line. He ran out of steam after 60 minutes but I feel sure he will have a great second half of the season.
I voted for George as I felt his tackling to get us out of trouble a number of teams was superb. That’s how you put your body on the line for your team. He is an exceptional player.

I was there today mate and it’s probably the best I’ve seen us play for some time, we looked slick with our passing and I felt we were a threat every time we were attacking. Great to see Eddie back and he looked sharp when he came on a proper goal scoring striker.
Aveley could have been down to 9 men and it wouldn’t have been harsh they couldn’t handle us breaking at speed so resulted to kicking and hacking our players down at every opportunity !
I like Bland who seems to have some really good touches in tight situations however the whole side played really well today not a bad performance between them.
One small complaint, Micheal came on and when we were breaking in a dangerous position he fouled a Aveley player off the ball and the ref gave a free kick to them on the edge of our box, will he ever learn????

A much better performance today and we were worthy winners.
First half we could have had another goal or two and deservedly went in ahead at the break.
They came out second half and put us under a bit of pressure early on but we soon got back into it and looked comfortable for the rest of the game.
I must admit after the run they had been on i was expecting them to be a little better. But that was probably down to how we played so credit to the lads who also had to contend with some questionable "tackles" in the second half as they clearly lost their discipline.
MOTM easy decision for me, Joe Tennent. Another composed performance at the back and the important second goal for us as well.

Very pleasing performance as well as result today - made the journey down from Derbyshire well worth it
We looked great all over the park and could have had many more than two goals. Aveley were a dirty side and had little luck in front of goal thank the lord
More of the same please Darts and we have every chance of the play offs

First of all Averley are absolute scumbags ! It was like the pre season against Gillingham! Congratulating each other after dangerous fouls was abysmal !
As for us I thought the boys were outstanding! Samir didn't need to react and get the yellow card as the ref was reaching for the card anyway!
Their keeper definitely needs a payrise after the last 20mins he was outstanding!
Good result against a disgraceful side !

A hard fought game against tough opponent's.
Two well taken goals and we move on.
I understand that the referee was being assessed
Well he had plenty to deal with because our opponents were very physical to say the least.
My man of the match.......
Joe Tennant....... excellent performance

What a bunch of thugs were Aveley. Thankfully they caught us on a good day and their skullduggery got what it deserved. We were very good all round today and as well as the two goals, their woodwork took a bit of punishment. Definitely one of our better performances.
Nice to see Eddie Dsane get on the pitch even if it wasn't for very long. I must confess I'm at a loss as to why he doesn't get more pitch time and I don't think I'm alone in wondering.

Enjoyed that, voted Whitefield MOTM. Hope Samir is ok after the multiple counts of GBH. Well done Kev for catching the goals as always.

Can’t believe what i’m reading. Multiple Aveley fans been whinging about the referee performance and the red card decision when I believe they was lucky to escape with just one dismissal. Strange.

Agree, he's a goal threat every time he sets foot on the pitch........

This was a very good win for the Dart's, defended well and counter attacked with pace. We clearly had them worried on all fronts.
I was well disappointed with them as they came to us after getting good results and obviously with a lot of confidence.
What was witnessed was anything but.
Attack wise, well they hardly had a shot on goal with one header hitting the bar. Apart from that they hadn't a clue with our defence, once again, dominant as at Chatham. Very well organised. Sam Okoye was blistering down the right on the overlap. Joe and George in the middle were excellent and Sammy Oduado coped well.
I think they got frustrated at how well we contained them, spilling over into terrible challenges and fortunate to end the game with 10 men.
Two leg breaking challenges, let's face it, they couldn't be seen as tackles. They quickly turned into a very POOR side.
The ref had his work cut out and was getting writers cramp.
As for their manager, if he condones the way his team plays then he should drop a league, because that's where the majority of his managerial experience seems to stem from.
Every one of our players handled this experience well without losing their heads unlike Aveley. Apart from Samir, who should have known better.
Dart's by far the better side.
My MoTM is Joe Tennet who was excellent, followed closely by Okoye and Whitefield. And a good shout for Callum Jones.

Yes, When Eddie came on the field there was a buzz of excitement in the crowd around me, he was unlucky not to have got on the scoresheet.
Can’t believe what i’m reading. Multiple Aveley fans been whinging about the referee performance and the red card decision when I believe they was lucky to escape with just one dismissal. Strange.
Agree mate, we've had some poor refs this season and called them out even when we've won.
The ref yesterday wasn't too bad but let a bit too much go unpunished second half when Aveley lost their discipline.
They kicked the crap out of Samir who had to go off because of it and they could easily have had a few more cards.
I think it's called sour grapes........
