Pre season friendly Dartford v Charlton Athletic Sat 12 July 2025 @ 3pm

Obviously early days and friendlies are not a good benchmark but it was a very encouraging performance with all the new additions making impressive starts. A couple of the trialists also did well so a very good start.

I believe the left wing back second half was Nathan Green.

On the pitch very happy so far but I'm afraid as already mentioned the small group of youngsters behind the goal are AGAIN causing problems.
The stewards shouldn't have to put up with some of the behaviour form these idiots but they looked out of their depth in dealing with the same issues. The club need to get this sorted asap and I have previously suggested how i feel they could deal with this but........

Is that the Nathan Green that

For me he did enough for serious consideration, you can’t have too many good players in a squad

33 years old now and was at Folkestone last season and Hornchurch the year before. Looked quality was it king or TB who signed him before?

It was under Tony Burman. He played for Dartford during the second half of the season that we were relegated from the NL (2015).

Did some history checking and Nathan Green scored a few decent goals for us in the conference national despite being a shite side and was offered new terms by TB when we went to the south however decided to go to Margate.

Would be good to know what other trialists we had I know we had Vint in defence who looked solid TBH, think there was 2 others on display ?

Sam Smith LCB (Ex maidstone), Ronnie Vint CB Nathan Green LWB and Zidan Miah who was on the bench and didn’t come on.

Nathan Green? Ronnie Vint? Are we really being serious considering these players. Not that they weren't bad, IN THERE DAY. But who was Ronnie with at the end of last season? Has he still got the ability to do ninety minutes?

While we're at it we may as well get Mark Onyemah back, now he was a quality left wing back .
But at least he knew when he was finished.
If Vinty was anything like 6 years ago I'd contemplate a return...but.

Look on the bright side - they both know the club and are keen enough to come on trial. Now out is down to then with their performances and commitment to persuade Ady that they would be an improvement to the squad.
