Don’t know if it’ll happen but I would love to see Hayden Bullas sign for us next season depending on the current situation and Leyton Orient of course.

From what I believe Hayden is a very local lad who absolutely loved his time playing for Dartford and he doesn’t drive which sometimes made it awkward for him getting to training and games with Orient.
Also I think he was playing U23’s football for them where as he’s got 1st team football with us.

We can only live in hope that he’ll sign if Orient let him go as he is a real quality player.

Our last three matches were at home and all were must win affairs: the first to maybe win the league and the second and third to win promotion via the play-off route. We drew one of those games in regulation time and lost the other two. In the play-off matches, we conceded three headers and a penalty. I did not see the Carshalton match. Two of those headers came from corners and the third as a result of a free kick played into our box. We did not concede a goal in open play in those last two matches, except in extra time against Cray. The two goals that we scored in regulation time were a penalty and a free-kick. This suggests to me that either teams were not commiting to attack, or that defenders were able to prevent supporting runs by fair means or foul.

Having achieved such a long unbeaten run with the same set of players, I am not sure what went wrong at the end, but something clearly did.

Sadly no trip to Bognor next season. Very few destinations to look forward to. Hoping that the cup and trophy give us somewhere decent to visit.

After everything you just said you’d be glad you didn’t see the carshalton match.

Indeed …….. glad I’m not alone in thinking that !
Been saying that for weeks!
I'm pretty sure the "punching above our weight" comment referred to comparative playing budgets (sorry for that word again!), not our league status.

Don't think I can be putting myself through the final highlights again. Once was enough.
I have no idea what Ade will be doing squad wise for next season.
Also I have to ask, does he give the impression, he doesn't know if he'll be with us too? I know he has a contract.

I can understand the worries some fans have following Ade’s response to a question post match. It was a very emotional time to be asked questions so let’s not read too much into his response.
The fact is I feel the club had learned a lot this season and the match day commercial revenue is slick and fans are coming through the turnstiles . We must make a good start next season and the best way of doing this is by continuity.
Ade and his staff should receive a healthy hike in salaries and the dreaded B word should be discussed and agreed with Ade immediately.
Sorry if this sounds a bit blunt

Hadn’t seen the full interview until this came out.
There are a lot of indicators in this that tell me he’s off.
“Ask the board” is a bit of a low blow that wasn’t needed either.

I hope Ady stays and further develops this team. And that is a rare example of me changing my opinion. I was calling for his head in October. Don’t mind admitting it. 🤦‍♂️ He’s a really nice bloke too. Always got time for supporters.

A bit worrying the comment ask the board, does sound like all is not good between them,
Hope Ady stays because if not it will be another re-build I don't think we can afford to do that.
I believe the 5 year plan to be in the National league was for us to get promoted next season, the board need to prove they want this to happen by backing Ady and trying there hardest to keep the players Ady wants to keep,
Looking a twitter last night I had a feeling both Sam O and Callum were saying goodbye, hope I'm wrong.

I do wish Ady would not keep saying we were punching above our weight I find that frustrating

If he has been given a budget that is of the bottom half of the league which is what has been rumoured then his comments about punching above our weight are not wrong from his point of view

Clearly there must be stuff going on behind the scenes judging by his recent comments.

How are we supposed to "rebuild" and keep our younger players which we are meant to be rebuilding around if the budget is not there and the manager keeps changing.

What's the excuse next season when we have another full new squad? Oh we are rebuilding (again). I hope I am wrong and we can keep the stand out players from this season

It’s brilliant isn’t it. All I get now is a one line saying “Mark Sweet who is on your block list made a post”. Weirdly it gives you the option to display it. 😂 Why would anyone? I’m cured! He can be annoying as he likes now. Gone from my world. Now, who else is on my list….! 😜 This measure also reduces the pressure on Rick (if there is any) to ban irksome w*nkers.
