When I saw an ‘update’ for this thread, I was rather hoping for another inbound!

Happy with the signing of Joe. Bullied us in the playoffs. Hopefully get 1 or 2 more in ahead of tomorrow

I’m sure Ady has seen we need more experience in defence and this is a good signing even if it does remind me of that play off final

Albie O'Mara-Knapp has joined Erith Town on an initial month's loan and Gabe Campbell's loan at Witham Town has been extended by a further month.

Makes sense to get the other younger lads out on loan if we can, no point in them watching from the stands each week now they have some first team experience under their belt, Taylor, Atkins and the others who played at Erith last week.
Get them out playing in SCEFL, or Isthmian South every week.

Looks as though he has just scored 3 minutes into his debut tonight

I'd actually instead be inclined to say credit where credit's due here. It says he was with us in the summer but wasn't match-ready so has spent some time at B&P before joining us. I think that shows the fruit of forward-thinking from Ady, rather than him throwing money at a problem.

I don't see this as a desperate signing to try and turn our form (like what is needed for GK) but one that deepens our midfield options and we should see the impact of over time.

Well let's face it, it doesn't look as if Sammy McLeod is going to make a swift entry anyway time soon.
Hopefully we'll have a midfielder who's not a 45 minute man, no offence to Samir.
