Brown would be a great signing, also Hutchinson has departed Folkestone but I do believe he might be joining Eastbournerambo wrote: Sat Jun 06, 2026 1:11 pm It’s a real shame that Eddie is not staying but obviously it hurt him being marginalised for two years by Ade and in practice I would guess that left a sour taste for Eddie towards DFC. This is understandable when you have a manager that panders to his favourites.
No hard feelings towards Eddie and I wish him luck wherever he goes.
If goes without saying that this leaves us light up front and Ben has a job on his hands to find quality to support Dan. I would suggest he has a serious look and talk with Kai Brown who has decided to leave Waltham Abbey. He is an excellent footballer and scores Lots of goals, I believe 30 last season so no doubt he will have no shortage of takers

There’s a rumour that Dartford hold strong interest.

I'm really pleased that Sam is staying, despite that pathetic PR posting by the club. Who do they think they are kidding?

I'm really disappointed about Eddie and Olly, though. Perhaps it's just a reflection of our club's stature these days? I really hoped that Eddy would stay after Ady's departure, but sadly it wasn't to be.
Regarding Olly, that decision just defies belief for me. Going to that tin-pot outfit Ebbsfleet?!!!! Surely the worst run club in the County? I can understand his desire to go full time, but with Ebbsfleet...... really?!!! It's a bit like saying I've always had an ambition to own a Rolls Royce, and now I've achieved my ambition by buying an old dinky toy model Rolls Royce for 50p at a boot fair.
I really don't know who is advising young Olly, but one bit of advice I'd give him, would be to get himself a new adviser.

Great news that Sam is staying with us, that shows some real loyalty considering he could’ve gone full time with the other teams interested.
Fantastic stuff, hopefully Sam OKoye will remain a Dart as well, we just have to wait and see what signings Ben can make next.
We seriously need some more forwards and wingers now and possibly a back up keeper and then we should be done I think.
Waiting for more good news within the next few days.

I was thinking if 1 Sam re-signs the other will as well but I might be wrong, Ady liked Okoye so not sure if he would try to tempt him to Ramsgate however surely most of last seasons squad other than Jones couldn’t stand AdyThe 5th Searcher wrote: Sat Jun 06, 2026 4:28 pm Great news that Sam is staying with us, that shows some real loyalty considering he could’ve gone full time with the other teams interested.

Up shit creek as regards a front line. I hope Ben has a few leads regarding this situation. This is a worrying time in our clubs history.
Re: DFC Player updates 26/27
It sounds like Ben knows who his targets are now eddy and Olly have moved on. As much as I would rather them both have stayed, it is what it is, and hopefully we will find suitable replacements. Trying to remain positive as so far so good.
“He’s really excited by the players we have brought in and some of the attacking names that are close to coming on board and I look forward to working with him this season.”

Good luck to him, badly managed by Adyos and didn’t believe he was going to get anymore playing time this season.

Fair play to whoever does Aveleys Social Media but the one who does the ‘Puns’ needs shooting!!
