That was a decent watch for a friendly and a well deserved victory for the Darts. The team is starting to take shape and I am cautiously optimistic for the season ahead. Callum Jones in particular has really caught my eye in the friendlies. He works his socks off and has already scored a few goals, you can't ask for more than that.

Its been a while since I left a Dartford match feeling this positive. Yes it was a friendly but the match never felt like one . Sutton are two leagues above us but you would have not know it , we were superb and that was without Samir and Box .

Things are beginning to look up. Ade and Roland are getting to work well.
What a shame Ade was not given more time at the end of last season. We could have been talking about high hopes for another NLS season.

It was a breath of fresh air watching DFC with flowing attacking football. On on the grass!!

Today was the first time I’ve seen this new Dartford team this season & I have to say I was very surprised & pleased at the way they played. I actually witnessed a team that wanted to play on the deck football and who gave 110% for each other all over the pitch. We battled & hassled Sutton all game and forced them into making mistakes which is something I’ve not seen for a while now at PP.
I’m not going to get to excited just yet as it’s very early days but things do look promising.

I was very impressed with the Skinner Bar for season ticket holders and like the idea of £1 for the glass which you either keep using or hand it back and get your £1 back.

Plus the new food outlets are all good as well, the quality of food & the pricing is 100 times better than previous years.

Agree totally with the 5ths post and great to hear the extra fan noise generated by the small number of young Darts fans , be great when the rest come for the League games when the levels will obviously increase = an atmosphere at PP again !!!! , great as the team will respond to that !!!!!!!

A very decent performance by our team but I would be worried if I was a Sutton supporter they couldn't hit a cow's posterior with a musical instrument. Let's hope Callum Jones is the goalscorer Dartford have been searching for and with Olly Box and hopefully a fully fit Samir to come in things could be promising for the season which is fast approaching.

First time for me too at PP this summer and really enjoyed the look and feel of the place - thank you to the Board in implementing some really good changes. Loving the Skinners Bar!

On the field, really encouraging display. DOA’s signing caused a few raised eyebrows but he’s looking really sharp and forms an exciting partnership with an impressive Callum Jones.

For sure it will be a very tough Division with a very challenging opener away to Cray Valley but, on yesterdays viewing, we’ve made some real strides in the right direction I feel.

V impressed with Skinners Bar, at £5 a pint can’t argue with that!!
(oh & I don’t think Sutton will be playing league football again anytime soon??)

Very pleased to see the way we played with all our players putting in a good performance with full commitment in attack and defence.
Both keepers pulling off good saves especially in the first half and how many consecutive corners did we have 5 or 6 was it before they managed to clear the ball up field.
We came close hitting the bar and eventually for once our luck changed when we had a very good shot which hit the post and the rebound fell to Jones to put away for our goal.

Update on that as well mate, i saw Olly on the pitch at HT warming up and was told he could have played but club just didn't want to risk it.
Makes sense to me as i think he will be a key player for us this season.

4mins of highlights on Suttons fans forum , we got caught a few times dwelling on the ball at the back - need to get rid of that habit ???? , Sutton Fans quite impressed with us though !!!!
