Have Maidstone won a game at home since our win there in the Cup?

Nope, we must have knocked their confidence after beating them 3-0! they lost 2-0 at home to Eastbourne and yesterday lost 2-0 at home to Dorking.

Hopefully back to winning ways tomorrow night to keep our 100% away record in the league and increase our lead at the top, I think the team we need to keep an eye on currently is ££££fleet who have started to hit form and sit only 6pts behind us.

Let's hope we don't suffer the same post match cup trauma suffered by the incumbents at the Gallagher Stadium, which was hardly a shock in comparison to the nightmare in Suffolk which followed.
A game which saw us with just one foot in the next round by half time when we should have been out of sight by that stage.

It seemed most unusual when I woke up this morning. Doh, it's Monday, chores and bores, then i remembered, "hey, it's match day" and the sun soon appeared. What makes it even better I am already north of the river, visiting in Colchester for the afternoon, how better could the jouney back be than a two hour stop off in Chelmsford, and then bringing home three points? COYD, lets make it a super Monday!

This will be our toughest test of the season in my opinion, for a number of reasons. Firstly Chelmsford always prove to be a tricky opponent for us regardless of what the league table is showing and I expect that to be no different tonight.

But mainly it is our first test since the cup exit, and while I want to move on from that as quickly as possible I'm sure it's still going to be lingerinh in some minds especially considering the context behind the defeat, and we've seen what it can do to teams' momentum, Maidstone being the prime example.

I'm going to say a narrow 1-0 win. COYD.

According to Chelmsford’s Twitter kick off delayed to 8pm due to the ref being delayed in traffic.

Dorking manager Marc White is in attendance ahead of this weekend’s game. His fashion choices are…interesting.

listening on radio , we seem to have all of the ball but struggle to breakdown packed defenses , bit worrying that Chelmsford have got behind us and should have scored , lets hope the 10 men run out of steam 2nd half ???

All Dartford by the sound of the commentary ?
Could be tricky trying to play against a ten man defence ; so patience is needed for the second half because they will be looking to level it up .

A bit worrying that we keep getting caught offside as well, surely we can read the line better.

We MUST make this extra man advantage count and punish them.

Their keeper was booked for time wasting even though he’s injured and can’t kick a ball & their manager was booked for complaining.

Looks like the ref is strong with the cards, fingers crossed we don’t receive any.
