Didn’t you play a game on the old Astro turf at Loftus Road, Parky?
I did mate, I was a ringer for The Bank of England against some accountants 🤣🤣
Great to play there but the plastic pitch was a joke and should never have been allowed. It was like playing on concrete.
Plastic pitches have moved on massively since those days - a completely different ball game now

I played on it I think in 1987.
Was like concrete but also very thin surface and full of sand.very painful when hitting the deck.
Also the pitch curved down massively either side I guess it was for drainage

It's a cold, wet, windy, miserable night and a mickey mouse competition, but that was the most enjoyable game of football I've seen Darts play this season. Both teams played decent football, but Darts unquestionably the better team and deserved the win. 5 perfect penalties and kudos to Ollie Box for the calm, clinical way he stuck away the final one to win the game.

An enjoyable game, personally I thought we were a bit lucky to come in 1-1 even though their goal came from a goal mouth scramble, they created more. However we dominated the second half and could have killed the game off with a goal if not for some great saves, but penalties were taken well and we came out deserved winners.

Let's take this on to the next game

That was a thoroughly enjoyable and competitive end to end game to listen to, so thanks again, Will Bass. Always says it as he sees it, and non stop commentary, and never diverging to asides which are not part of the game, but keeping his eye on the ball all the time. And how you manage to be identifying all the players, especially the opposition names, beats me.

So plenty of positives to be taken out of the game, which must be pleasing to TB, and a win which should give the squad a massive lift.

So no late goals conceded, a plus.
Ollie Box impressed me earlier in the season, so I am delighted for him winning Man of the Match and rounding it all off with the winning penalty strike.

Minutes for most of the players tonight as well, which is important, and shows TB giving all the players the opportunity to put forward their claim for a starting place. Well done to the young players and to Shomotun continuing to impress.

However, to me, based on the commentary, everybody working for each other, playing football, not hoofball, and you can feel the TB effect taking place.

Still going to be a difficult trip to Bath at the weekend, if the game is on, as up north, we are being told to expect snow midweek, which will be spreading to the whole country at the weekend. It will be good to get the game played.

What a turnaround in the feelgood factor now TB has taken the reins.

Again, we'll played Darts

Really enjoyable game of football, both sides going for it and we deserved it on the night.

A lot to take and minutes In the legs for the bench warmers.

Move on to Bath on Saturday which will be a tough game.

An enjoyable game with both teams playing their part.
The game was played at a decent tempo and we played some good football so very pleasing that we finished full of running.
Obviously tougher games ahead but hopefully the improved performances we have seen in the last few games will continue and we can start to move up the table

MOTM for me Luke Coulson.
