Credit to Dowse for changing system and going 2 up top, we looked far stronger last week with both Lewis and Harvey on the pitch so hopefully it's a good performance today and most importantly our first win of the season.

I had almost forgotten what the winning feeling was like but it feels good .
We played ok today but its not a pretty watch . We still play the long ball up to the forwards but at least we had two to aim at today instead of the 1 up front . Its all still very much narrow , I have seen anorexics with more width .
The old saying was true today , if at first you don’t succeed …. As in the last minute we did the dame thing for the 20 th time and this time it paid off . The long throw won and knocked across the box for Bradbury to nod home . We earlier had a penalty awarded, the Aveley players all had a go at the linesman who called the ref over and told him not to give it . Never have I seen that before.

Anyway lets hope we can make it a double on Monday against the French
