Odaudo was late to the ground as he had a flat tyre on the way, he arrived just as the players were coming out.

Looking forward to the highlights ! Disappointed I missed today I bet the atmosphere was banging, shame our youth weren’t allowed in I didn’t think there was any trouble last year when we went there so not sure why they decided against it this year.

COYD’s amazing 3 points now onto Ramsgate next week.

Att as Rick stated was given as 3049, certainly not the best of grounds to get round or watch a game of football and from what I saw their stewards were pathetic and chucked a load of our fans out of the main stand behind the goal at the start of the 2nd half.

They didn’t seem to be causing any issues or aggro at all and just started singing and supporting their team but their moronic fans or at least a few of them didn’t like it and gave loads of abuse and went crying to the stewards to have them thrown out of the stand.

Parklife will probably know more as I spotted him in the back of the stand having to leave.

First half we started excellently going 0-2 up within 8mins, we kept putting the pressure on playing some good football at times but also giving Chatham a bit to much time on the ball but not allowing them to many chances to attack our goal except for one superb free kick of theirs which hit the bar and bounced out easily having Henly beaten in our goal.

2nd half we seemed to come out a totally different team hardly attacking at all, giving the ball away far to much and standing back far to often giving Chatham all the time in the world to keep putting the pressure on us attacking our goal. You could clearly see they was going to score at some point and that’s exactly what they did which gave them a major boost. Our saving grace was both Tennent and Whitefield at the back both of whome got our goals but both also solid as rocks, Joe Tennent getting my MOTM vote.

Thankfully we managed to hold on for the win although the linesman on the dugout side was bloody awful and not giving a damn thing all game for either side when there was clear fouls & loads of shirt pulling he chose to ignore everything except for when Calum Jones scored he then flagged for offside.

A bit of a scrappy game on a very bouncy plastic pitch but at the end of the day the boys did what they needed to do and that was win the game and gain another 3pts to close the gap on Chatham to 3pts albeit Chatham still have 2 games in hand.

Well Done Darts & Ady.

The atmosphere was terrible as I believe a lot of the Dartford fans were turned around when trying to swap ends at HT, which meant we were scattered across the stadium and I for one stayed at the dreaded uncovered end where it’s impossible to generate any sort of atmosphere. There was also an unbearable Chatham fans that was shouting through a megaphone for 90 minutes.

Apart from that i’m absolutely buzzing with the result. Clinical performance and defended well for the majority of the game. Whitefield and Tennent both immense difficult to choose MOTM between them 2 for me. Thought Nelson Eze was quiet but looked tidy on the ball, Jones also looked better today when he managed to get on the ball. All in all we took our chances and saw out the game well. Great result.

A great start saw us 2-0 after the first 10 minutes then few chances coming after that but held on well until half time with only a free kick by Chatham hitting the crossbar.
Then a similar start to us by Chatham in the second half but thankfully only one goal coming as we defended well and restricted their chances to a few wayward shots high and wide.
A well supported attendance by our fans despite a good many youngsters being turned away, with entry refused as under 18's unaccompanied, despite having purchased tickets.
Well done Darts and an excellent win and M.O.M. to Joe Tennent

What a funny old afternoon. Gave the turnstile guy a £20 note and he gave me a tenner change. Christmas must have aged me this year. Must be the mother-in-law.

Good turnout from Dartford. Thought there were 2,000 in the ground. The bar must have hidden a lot throughout the game or there must be a money laundering operation in progress. If they had over 3,000, they were very quiet. Perhaps a number of people bought tickets but never made it on the day.

Dartford were fast out of the blocks and the first two shots on target ended up in the back of the net. Whay joy. Chatham muscled their way back into the game but Dartford worked hard to keep them out.

The double substitution by Dartford came at just the right time and we began to enjoy more possession and forays into the Chatham half.

The ref let the game flow fairly well in the first half but with a goal back, Chatham began to believe and became even more physical. The ref began to lose control and the holding whenever we put the ball forward made a farce of the rules. How the officials saw nothing amiss is beyond belief.

Late in the game the lino gave us all a laugh. He flagged for holding against a Dartford player. So he was not under instruction to just flag throws and offsides, he just chose not to until then.

Great battling performance from our team and they thoroughly deserved their victory. If we can play more like this more frequently, this season is still truely alive. The fat lady is far from singing yet.

Thank you Dartford. Merry Christmas!

Me and my family got there at 2:50, had spent £50 on 4 tickets and they didn’t even bother checking any of them, nor the ones infront or behind they was just hurding people through😂

Just remembered, the pitch performance did not convert me. I still loathe plastic pitches.
