Due to Jacob Marsden sustaining an injury in Saturdays game Ady has worked to loan Goalkeeper Matt Kerbey for the next month.

Ady would like to thank Steve Morrison and Sutton United for getting this sorted

Sam looks a good signing and I'm half expecting Jack Smith to come through the door but the lad has signed for Enfield I believe.
Ade quick on cover for a keeper.

Looks like another 2 good signings albeit one is a loan which was needed.

Hopefully the other signing is either the trialist who wore No 24 against Sutton and then wore No 18 against Borehamwood he looked good OR possibly a former loanee we had back end of last season that is rumoured to possibly be in talks.

Really happy with todays signings, great mixture of youth and experience in the squad. Feel like the only thing we’re missing is possibly another striker but other than that bring on Saturday!

Good signings today, wonder what happened to the Striker Ady mentioned on Friday

Not sure who some people were thinking of as in played for us on loan towards the end of season, I think the only player we had on loan was Ronnie Nelson but I think he signed for Tonbridge

He was but if memory serves me correctly Ady ended that loan quite early into him becoming manager

On paper, I'm happy with this. Mixture of youth products and senior players, and not relying on loan players is surely only a positive thing. We SHOULD have a team that wants to battle for eachother and give everything for the shirt.

Only time will tell if we have the quality to challenge at the top end, but I'm cautiously optimistic.

Really pleased with that final signing, Mert was the trialist I was talking about. He looked very dangerous at corners.

Rick, wasn't Jack Smith on loan too? I thought he came to us from Kings Lynn?

Sam Okoye, Matt Kerbey and Mert Apat are new at Dartford


Dartford yesterday announced three new arrivals.



Full back Sam Okoye was signing on at Hastings United this time last year, and he went on to make forty one appearances and score one goal. He previously played for Hitchin Town and Kings Langley- but his football education started when he was an Arsenal schoolboy. He has also spent time with Wingate & Finchley, as part of their Under 23 setup, and had a trial with Watford in the summer of 2021.



Goalkeeper Matt Kerbey is a loan arrival from Sutton United. The 22 year old came through the Academy at Gander Green Lane and has been part of the first team squad. He previously turned out at Chipstead, where he made thirty nine appearances during 21-22 and another forty one during 22-23, and spent part of last season on loan at hendon before being recalled due to a keeper injury crisis at United.



Centre back Mert Apat played alongside Kerbey for Hendon last season. He also played on our patch, ending the campaign at Concord Rangers- he made twelve appearances for the Beachboys. He was previously a bLeyton orient youth, and whilst with the O's had experience at Barkingside, and on our patch with Wingate & Finchley and also played for Great Wakering Rovers.
