Jordan Higgs – Career Summary
Jordan Higgs is a 29-year-old central midfielder who began his career in the youth system at Crystal Palace before moving into senior non-league football. Over the years he has gained extensive experience with clubs including Bromley, Welling United, Maidstone United, Tonbridge Angels and Ramsgate.
A hardworking and versatile midfielder, Higgs is comfortable in a holding or box-to-box role and brings valuable National League and National League South experience. Across his senior career he has made well over 200 appearances, contributing around 20 goals, with much of his game focused on energy, discipline and breaking up play rather than goalscoring.
His signing adds experience, versatility and strong Kent non-league pedigree to Dartford’s midfield ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Samir has announced on Instagram that he will be leaving
Re: DFC Player updates 26/27
Dissapointing regarding Samir.
A classy player but injuries have caught up with him
I wish him well wherever he goes.

Shame about Samir, a great player but has suffered a lot with injuries. Just hope we don't see too many of the others left to make a decision, end up at rival clubs in our league.

I loved Samir, but yeah - injury prone and probably the right time. Thanks Samir.

Looks like another great signing by Ben, welcome to The Darts Jordan.
Good Luck to Samir where ever he ends up unless he retires that is, I know he said at the end of last season the injury to his leg wasn’t good.
Thanks for your time at the Darts anyway Samir.

Maybe the signing of Jordan gave him a push to a correct decision

Re: DFC Player updates 26/27
What a shame Samir had the injury towards the end of the season. I wasn't a great fan but his influence on the pitch was for all to see. But I must say that it seemed to give Jeremiah a lift when Samir got injured. The lad certainly upped his game when he got back in the starting eleven.
So, in a way I'm sorry to see Samir go, but I'm well pleased with Jeremiah signing. Just waiting for the other lads to get on board.

Re: DFC Player updates 26/27
No doubt Samir was top quality but it’s the right time for him to leave.
We actually had a better PPG in the final third of the season when he wasn’t playing compared to the rest of the season. The rest of the team relied on him too much when he was playing and kind of switched off. He was our best player when he played, but this season I often felt we looked better as a team when he wasn’t playing.
Some great moments (his performance in play off semi last season) and not-so-great (penalty miss vs St Albans) but there was never a dull moment for him in a Dartford shirt! Wish him all the best - don’t think he’ll go Ramsgate but someone at this level or NLS will snap him up

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Samir in a player coach role somewhere. Good luck though Samir.
Re: DFC Player updates 26/27
Superb player and all round top fella. Gutted he has decided to leave but not sure how many more seasons he has left in the wake of that knee injury. Coulson and Carruthers were a couple of seriously class acts in the DFC midfield.
