Braintree are promoted to the National League after beating Worthing 4-3 AET in the play off final. Baris Altintop must be well pleased that he decided to leave Dartford.

Salisbury also promoted to the NLS after beating AFC Totton on penalties.

This thread has got me thinking how the Kent football landscape has changed since we finished 8th in the National League. Using the final positions in the 2012/13 season Kent teams would be ranked as follows (number in the brackets are this season’s rankings) - only focused on teams down to next season’s Isthmian Premier…

1 - Gillingham (1)
2 - Dartford (7)
3 - Ebbsfleet United (3)
4 - Welling United (6)
5 - Dover Athletic (8)
6 - Bromley (2)
7 - Tonbridge Angels (5)
9 - Cray Wanderers (11)
10 - Maidstone United (4)
14 - Folkestone Invicta (10)
17 - Chatham Town (9)
27 - Cray Valley Paper Mills (13)

Martin Tyler has made a surprise suggestion for the new manager of Manchester United.
Surely he hasn't suggested....no, surely not.

https://chelmsfordcityfc.com/club-state ... ownership/ (23rd May 2024)

Steve Shore has indicated that he intends to stand down as Chairman of the Club and John Holmes has indicated that he is looking to dispose of his 60% share.

Discussions are underway with several interested parties to take over John’s shareholding.

Dan Watkins has confirmed that he intends to continue as part of the ownership structure of the club and is taking the lead on decisions regarding the new season alongside Robbie and the management team.

Until a replacement is found Steve will continue to act as Chairman and Director and continue to support the club as required.

As discussions develop the club will keep supporters and stakeholders informed.

Immoral beyond belief.
I’ve always wondered what life would be like with an investor in our club but this is a level of kamikaze scatter gun throw everything at it, with very little success with these obscene figures.
Just shows with this spend they are a complete failure, they should be doing miles better.

Front the KoL article:
However, this year the directors of the company have elected not to include a copy of the profit and loss account with their financial statements.

Interesting to see what the P&L looks like after they have paid for and moved to the new ground and written off the capital investment in Stonehenge.
