Bugger me Rambo, for a minute there I thought we'd got Dowson back in charge.
Welcome Dan, seems a good signing to me.

Perish the thought Lars , I keep forgetting that Man’s name and now you’ve brought back my nightmares. I notice that no club has called upon his services yet.

I believe he was involved with Hanworth Villa (or something similar) in the Isthmian North last season with his sidekick Christian Jolley.
Got to the play offs where they blew out. Finished third over the season.
Well, that's where I last heard he was.

Seems a good signing for DFC,
I do wonder how they would all fit in the side with
Callum Jones
Olly Box
Eddie Deane
Dan Smith
But they certainly have goals in this team,
Especially if Samir can chip in along with George Whitefield

I don't know anything about Dan Smith but I feel sure that Ade has looked at him closely and Dan fits the bill.
I just hope he can add pace as well as goal scoring to the front line.
Going in the right direction for the new season.
Centre back and goalkeeper are now the big issue

It would be nice to see an out and out winger in the squad and there is still plenty of time. The hardest position to fill will be the goalkeeper, especially with the new 8 second rule.
The 8-second rule for goalkeepers in football, which was approved by IFAB, means that if a goalkeeper holds the ball in their hands for longer than eight seconds, a corner kick will be awarded to the opposing team. This change is intended to reduce time-wasting by goalkeepers.

Expect that law to be enacted once in a big game, everyone slags off the ref , and it’s quietly discarded by Xmas!

I have to agree with you Jonty seems a good while since we have had an out and out winger which so many of our opposition tend to favour

Sounds like a very good signing, teams shaping up nicely. Excited to hear more news. From reading Adys interview, let's be patient and trust him to do what's best, we need the right type of players at DFC.

Reading this it states that Pinder has now signed a contract for the season 25/26,
Does it mean the ones we have not heard about Like Box, Sam o & Denzil are not contracted for the season yet,
I find it all a bit confusing,
Be nice to get a new Goalkeeper on board as well a replacement for Josh

No Olly, Sam and I think Denzil are already on contracts and took up the option of the 2nd year.

He received worse than dogs’ abuse at PP last season and I gave him a gobful for his anti-football pub-team crap at the end. Oh well, welcome to DFC Jonny! Humble pie in the post!

. Looked a decent keeper to be fair - just played for a really shit team.

TBH the anti football was horrific however I think the outfield players were the main culprits, I’m sure Jonny enjoyed the abuse that much he signed on the dotted line at least he knows we are a passionate bunch
