The match preview is available at https://puredfc.co.uk/dartford-v-worthing

Bank Holiday August weekend has provided some decent memories since our homecoming. Check out some of the good times in the On This Day section as well.

It's like that famous novel by Remarque on here.
Let's hope for a response from our two defeats, although I did ask for a response from our first defeat.

Evening fellow Darts

Let’s hope for 3 points tomorrow ! If we win ugly who cares - results matter.

Can’t believe how quiet it is on here after a period of not posting.

It’s worryingly quiet. Not known anything like it. I’m praying that Taunton was a ‘bad day ay the office’ (I can take the home defeat to H&W) and not a worrying trend. We are sooooo under strength imho. Worthing are no mugs and they’re showing well. We’ll be nuts to disrespect them. Normally, under these circumstances, I’d say I’ll take a draw. But, no, a win is a must. C’mon Tom - sort this out!

Worthing were a very decent side when they played Welling a couple of weeks ago. They have retained many players who have been with them last season and the one before so they are settled and confident. Expect a hard game especially as their away form is better than their home form.

Wish list for tomorrow:

• 3 points
• Three different goal scorers
• Small bar queue
• Attendance >1000
• Ebbsfleet lose

I’ve been good all week.

Looking forward to the game tomorrow, hopefully we bounce back and prove Taunton was just one of those days. Worthing will be a very tough test and we will need to be at our best to get something from the game and I trust the lads to do so.

I still don't agree with the comment saying "we are so under strength". While I feel like we still need 1 midfielder and maybe a defender I feel like in every key area we have some very good players who are proven at this level and in some cases the level above, and we will get stronger as the season goes on.

And we haven't got the horrendous injury list which Dorking were burdened with at the beginning of last season's campaign.

Most of Dorking injuries are of their own doing!!
Playing & training on that shitty, rock hard, rubber balled artificial pitch of theirs!!
Grass not Astro….Our planet needs worms to flourish!!
(So we can hang them on a hook for our fishing trips!)

Sounds reminiscent of the frogs legs saga.
The French (who else) imported so many of them, the country they came from saw a massive outbreak of malaria due to not having enough frogs left to catch the mozzies.

Interesting team for sure. Feel like we are definitely going to miss Rodari and Wilks today.

Big game for Wall, hopefully can show us he's still got it. No out and out striker on the bench is a worry.

HT 1-0.
Started the half really well with high tempo, took the lead then Worthing had a decent amount of possession without creating.much.

Wall needs to have a look at himself. Two ridiculous ‘falls’ in the first half that wouldn’t fool my missus. Then a Beckamesque kick out at an opponent. The sort of shit that gets you a red card. Really, is that all we’ve got up front?! Please Dowse, stick to your word and get rid of this dead wood. Saw Ryan Hayes and Elliot Bradbrook here today. Hmmm. Couldn’t go wrong!
