And there’s me thinking Americans don’t/can’t understand Cricket at all LA?
Re: Eastbourne v Dartford Sat 7 May 2022
Eight of us down for the weekend.
Hoping to find some live music / crazy golf / blue-rinse parties.
Gotta love an end of season beano, we’ve been so lucky with Bognor(x2), Truro, Torquay and Poole in recent years.

Re: Eastbourne v Dartford Sat 7 May 2022
Good job you are not watching Kent, they can't hold a stick of rhubarb and don't look like bowling teams out. Enjoy your stay LA Dart and hope to catch up with you at Eastbourne.
Re: Eastbourne v Dartford Sat 7 May 2022
I'm still thoroughly p***ed off but hopefully that will have passed by next Saturday morning.
I wonder if we're still going full tilt for this one (in the hope that Chelmo nick at least a point) or whether we'll be holding back with one eye on the midweek play-off. I felt our downfall in the Braintree game was partly down to having one eye on the Eastbourne game and I think it's about time we started focussing on the here and now rather than speculating on what might happen in the future. Maybe the old "one game at a time" cliché has some validity.
I'll still be there doing my bit to support the team of course, but it would be nice to know if I'm there for a day at the seaside or to witness a genuine battle for 3rd place. I hope we give it a damned good go as Fleet have slipped up more than a few times themselves this season and imagine how infuriating it would be if we didn't go for it and then found out that Chelmsford had forced a draw. It's hard to imagine feeling more devastated than last Saturday but I think that might just do it.
Trouble is you never know what Dartford team is going to turn up (both literally and figuratively). I guess we'll have to wait until Saturday.
Still keeping the faith.

I will be going and expecting a real tough game as Eastbourne's last 10 games at home reads W7 , D1, L2 For 23 Ag 14 , however they did lose their last home game to Billericay !!
Lets hope that he team respond to Steve Kings Post Match comments and put in a performance ??

Is it another plastic pitch, hopefully we can knock the ball around like we did at Slough. But of course we'll have no Kieran Murtagh in the middle for a bit of stability.

If anyone is travelling on the coach to Eastbourne tomorrow please note that the club has announced that it will be departing at 11.00 instead of the original time of 11.15.
