Joke of a club, how can any club be allowed to operate a business losing 40k per week and a £23 million plus debt.

Good luck to Olly though.

Can’t blame him for going into professional football any young player would have wanted to do the same it’s just a shame we couldn’t offer the opportunity although I know the club have been talking about it for years going full time and day time training.

With some in our league and most in the league above going FT I am worried unless we are able to finance something like this soon we will be getting further and further behind even Tonbridge have made the move to FT this season coming.

What was good enough for success in the TB years isn’t good enough in the modern game, I wonder what the plan is to get us into a situation of being FT and how long is the time line.

Good luck Oly I might even pop along to watch you when the Darts aren’t playing such a quality player.

Don't think this a good move for Olly,
If he does not hit the ground running the supporters will give him stick because he came from Dartford,

As far as I am concerened the Club tried to keep him offered him a vastly improved contract but he wanted to go full time, Lets go out and use that money on a player that wants to Play for Dartford, I wish Olly well but think he could have gone to a better club.

May not be a take that many people agree with but I actually think that for a large portion of games Olly went missing and wasnt physically up to it so best of luck at full time level and a single league above again. Hopefully we take Ebbsfleet for a good sum of money and in the long run see them run up even more unpaid debt and money problems

Good luck to Olly , he deserves better than going to a broke club. Are they able to pay our compensation?

At least now it is clear for Ben that we need players in forward position.
I saw this morning on Facebook that a Kai Brown a really good forward for Waltham Abbey is not staying with them and that Dartford and St Albans are looking at him
He scores pots of goals and hopefully we are serious in looking at him

Annoying as regards Olly, but not irreplaceable. But as said, if it doesn't work for him the Gravesend & Northfleet crowd will soon let him know.
Shit pot club.

Wanted to say the same but didn’t want to come across ‘salty’. Good player on his day but do believe he’s replaceable.

It is what it is really, I hope he does well but I just dont see it happening. Given the choice of keeping him or Eddie, it'll have been Eddie all day long so hopefully we get some good news with him in the coming days. Or some news at all really

Makes sense, local, and a step up for him. Anyone would have jumped at the chance tbf. Good luck, bang in the goals.

Olly is a good finisher but as DoH says went missing in some games and was easily pushed off the ball on numerous occasions.
He will need a lot of work to make the grade next season but given time will eventually achieve this.
I hope he makes it but I can see him 'out on loan ' next season, probably Ramsgate 😉😁

Think you’re confusing me with DartfordHero but I would agree!

I am sorry to see Boxy leave the club .
But he deserves to play at a higher level ,although it is not much higher.

You can't blame the lad for wanting to play in a better standard but I do agree with others on here that it is hardly a huge step up..

I hope it works out for young Olly though and wish him well.

Desperately sad to see Olly go. And that bunch of shite! Not that much of a move up in my opinion and he’ll be out of there when they go bust. Oh well, good luck Olly. All the more reason to hang on to Eddy, Eddy, Eddy!

I hope I'm wrong but I can't see Eddie resigning with us despite him having a better goals per game ratio than Olly. Gutted to see Olly move on but expected this last season, so it's been coming. Wishing him all the best, but agree with others that he can be a bit lightweight physically.

No point having players at the club who aren't 100% committed, as sad as it is that one of our golden boys is moving on for full time football.

Knobsfleet I hope you look after the lad.

I’m inclined to agree with you Lars, the longer it seems to go on the more it looks like they will all go elsewhere.

If they was that keen on staying at Dartford then they would’ve agreed terms and signed by now.

I don’t know how long Eddie is / was in America for playing in that football tournament. I really hope we get some news soon regarding all 3 players though.

We currently only have 1 forward and no wingers unless you count Ben as a winger as he’s not really a forward.

We still need more either way though.
