Re: New Manager
I'd be amazed if the board hadn't spoke to all the players immediately after ADYos left (rumours confirm they did).
Agree we will need to appoint someone soon and i'd be very surprised if we didn't hear something this week.

Re: New Manager
As we are throwing hats into the ring, why not Tommy Warrilow? I'm sure he had some experience in a higher standard, having been sacked from my local club Faversham.
Re: New Manager
I think you've answered your own question mate if he was sacked by Faversham.....ozymandias wrote: Tue May 05, 2026 12:09 pm As we are throwing hats into the ring, why not Tommy Warrilow? I'm sure he had some experience in a higher standard, having been sacked from my local club Faversham.
Anyway I think you'll find it's too late now for any more suggestions.
Re: New Manager
Ozy, there are levels and he is Kent League sir.

Guessing it’s decided then?Park Life wrote: Tue May 05, 2026 12:25 pmI think you've answered your own question mate if he was sacked by Faversham.....ozymandias wrote: Tue May 05, 2026 12:09 pm As we are throwing hats into the ring, why not Tommy Warrilow? Re: New Manager

We’re still recovering from our last Geordie!Old Woking United wrote: Tue May 05, 2026 2:58 pm Hello, don't hate me but what about the Widderington pair. , Dad and Son Theo?.
Raises the question though of whether we’d rather have someone who’s been successful at a lower division or someone who’s managed at a higher level but with not much success
Re: New Manager
I’d say he was fairly successful at Aldershot, won the fa trophy and they haven’t really improved since his departure. Eastbourne on the other hand he definitely did fail. as did all the other managers succeeding Adam Murray so far though.Dart of Herts wrote: Tue May 05, 2026 3:41 pmWe’re still recovering from our last Geordie!Old Woking United wrote: Tue May 05, 2026 2:58 pm Hello, don't hate me but what about the Widderington pair. , Dad and Son Theo?.

Re: New Manager
Why not Kai the dancer too?
Re: New Manager
His failure at Eastbourne was reckoned to be very much down to a clash with their idiot of a CEO.... as did most other recent managers there. Can't see Kingy tolerating him too long either, tbh!WillDfc42 wrote: Tue May 05, 2026 3:46 pmI’d say he was fairly successful at Aldershot, won the fa trophy and they haven’t really improved since his departure. Personally, l think Tommy Widdrington would be a good shout if he was interested, and Theo would be a good addition to the playing squad too.
