Fighting relegation, they will be up for this. This is also their cup final.

I just know right now that the most interesting part of this day out will be the 96 bus ride. One way or the other. I’ll skip it.

I’d never had missed this game but so many of us long term fans just can’t bothered anymore - says everything 😳

It’s a real big shame. A local derby where we need as many vocal supporters as possible. But sadly can’t knock anyone for feeling this way.

Apathy beginning to creep in from some hard-core fans.
Sad times but understandable.
Beaten at potters bar and a very fortunate draw against Cray. doesn't bode well

Hoping as ever for a win but no predictions from me..
We are far too inconsistent.

Defeat against a welling team heading for relegation means the end of the road for the management team in my view especially if we are as poor as at potters bar!

Went to welling v carshalton last night. Welling win 2-1, I’ve no idea how. Carshalton missed a host of glorious chances, even right at the depth with the welling keeper pulling off a Gordon Banks type save. If we get as many chances I’d hope we score a fair few. Welling do have fight in them though, need to match that as a minimum. They’re the worst team I’ve seen since, well possibly last Saturday.

Maxwell may be working his magic, who knows? But that win puts them in touch with the clubs around the edge of the teams above the bottom 4.
They've got it in their head's to stay in the winning ways even though they're not playing well. We are not playing well.
Chatham also slipped up last night which hopefully is good news for us, should we decide to take advantage.
Bodø did a job on Inter Milan.
Let's hope we can get a win on Saturday.
Up the Dart's.

I read someone’s post recently that George’s suspension is now over and he is available for selection.
At this stage of the season our position in the playoffs is somewhat precarious due mainly to our form and team selection. There us now no room for sentiment and we must start with our best 11.
George is our best centre half by a mile and he must start.
I feel George is as big a prospect as Olly is and I see him as a future captain of the club. In fact if it was up to me I would make him captain now.
No dilly dallying now let’s get this game done

I agree with you Rambo but I fear that this management are wasting a golden generation of talent from our youth setup and come season's end they will be gone if we don't go up. Like you say we must start with our strongest 11 and no more tinkering. Wouldn't it be nice to see the team sheet before the game and not feel beaten before a ball has even been kicked. I would play a back 3 and deploy Okoye & Williams as wing backs as they are the only players with genuine pace and would at least get us down the wing. You could argue that big Sam should start but he has been off his game of late and if we are to tinker you could give him some game time in the middle of the park, where he was very effective away to Chatham. As for the 3 up front, you could play one of them in the hole but certainly no room for Callum...again based of his form this season. We still have quality on the bench with Pinder and hopefully Bland.

Henley

Tennent Winfield Whitefield

Okoye Olopade Carter Williams

Dsane Smith Box

I really hope Ady can turn things around as personally he is a likable guy. I will be in attendance with my son and really looking forward to this game. COYD

Dan Carter is a must start IMO, also we must go with experience and agree with the choice of Winfield. I don't think that Sam Oduado did himself any favours with his performance Saturday as he was very poor. Very disappointing from a talented lad.

Good luck Darts, I haven't been to Welling fc for years .It is not my favourite away fixture.
I am hoping for 3 points but this is a local Derby and the wings will be up for it big time.
Another poor performance from our lot and we could well get turned over .
It's a funny old game but I cannot see us getting out of this league with our present set up

I hope that they prove me wrong !!

Can’t argue with anyone wanting to stay away, if I went to more games I probably would feel this way too. However those of us in the ground tomorrow remember this is a derby so let’s make some noise. I really don’t wanna lose to this mob.

Need to try and stick together especially for this match,
hopefully go on a bit of a run and sneak into the playoffs, hopefully the youth can come and make some noise,

Come on Lads & Lasses let’s get behind the boys tomorrow and do our bit if we fail to make the playoffs then the end of the season is the time express our opinions to the club,

Hopefully for our remaining home games the club will let the youth in and let the stewards know this but more importantly make a statement welcoming the youth, we need the atmosphere at the ground

My point is that the youth are not simply going to keep coming to be turned away, the club need to make a statement saying that will not be turned away or something like that

Would like to think we will get something from this game but after the last two games it is difficult to see that happening.
Welling are scrapping for the points and are now in touch with an escape route out of the bottom four.
We have to win to stay in the mix. I feel anything else would be another nail in the coffin.
Carter has to star in my opinion, with Dsane.
Anything else would probably influence my decision on Tuesday night.
After last Saturday's performance today is going to be a big ask.

Watched them Tuesday, they were unbelievably bad, and that’s after seeing our dross last Saturday. What they did have was physicality and fight in abundance

Anything less than 3 pts today should lead to Pennock’s sacking imo.

Do think we’ll win though.
