Sad times for darts fans, we moved away form the area so I don’t get to see the games because of family and time issues , unfortunately the rot set in a good few years ago, you can change the manager as often as you see fit
But unfortunately the board you can’t
And that is where the problem is
I’ll get my tin hat on because I know the usual people will get shitty , but that is the truth of the matter Dartford fc needs a big board shake up to sort the problems
Lack of ambition on their behalf have caused the decline and it’s sad to see and hear from people how far the club has fallen
Hope the season turns around but I doubt very much without a complete change of hierarchy this will happen

Move the crap on who don’t care about the shirt and play some of the youngsters. Will say it again cannot be any worse than some of our so called “senior” players.
Least they care and will show some pride.

I could be wrong but I’m sure Denzel was one of the players who didn’t sign a new deal, just had his current one extended.Lars Resort wrote: Sun Oct 05, 2025 11:40 am It's hardly a tin pot league. The top 5 or 6 are putting money into the clubs which we are not keeping up with.
But we have a team that finished 3rd last season and were 90 minutes from promotion.
When most of that squad put pen to paper in the summer that told me they wanted to carry on with the same intention and do the job properly.
We were all ecstatic with that and had high hopes.
So, the manager for me is not the problem. To some extent nor are the players. Having said that Denzelle is not the same player I and others were raving about back in April. He in my opinion, is a shadow of himself who has not had a good game so far.
Questionably Henly hasn't had a great start, the back four is not a settled area and when Tennet came in, after two games, suddenly doesn't seem to be the answer.
Discipline has gone out of the window, Callum isn't putting the goals away and Carruthers isn't exactly making the impact when he starts or comes on.
Too many things are mis-firing all at once, not to mention injuries, or budget.
Will Ade be given time to sort it?
But to call it a tin pot league is a mistake, for me we will be lucky to make the top six this season but relegation material is not going to be a matter.
Midfield was our issue last season until bullas and dunne came in.
We haven’t replaced them at all, McLeod signed with a shocking injury record and Samir is either unfit or not fancied anymore.

We would’ve been drawn Tilbury away in the next round of the competition.

Have I missed the interview
Oh no its just radio silence again after another pathetic, embarrassing defeat.
I thought communication was being improved
Or is it only if we are winning.
Complete joke

It’s almost like no interview we can all just carry on and forget it even happened. Onto Saturday I guess…
Re: FA Trophy 3rd Qualifying Round - Hadley FC v Dartford - Sat 4 Oct 2025
To hear nothing from the club after Saturday is in my opinion is taking the P out of all the supporters who pay well earned money on following the Team,
I’m not sure if the club sacked Pennock we would be any better off as we need investment to compete in this division let alone any higher, On the 5 year plan it was supposed to be us getting promoted this season, they may have to rethink that one, hopefully we can turn a corner soon as crowds will be dropping more, maybe letting some of the underachieving players go and get others in,
Also an update on players Injury wise would be helpful where is our defender that got sent off at Dulwich he seems to have disappeared

Maybe the official line is Pennock's unwell.

At least you’d probably say it how it is though Parky and not make excuses.Park Life wrote: Tue Oct 07, 2025 5:14 pmI would think that's the last thing people would want, listening to meNumber Six wrote: Tue Oct 07, 2025 12:09 pmHow about an interview with our current Man of the Match leader - Are you up for it ParkieWillDfc42 wrote: Tue Oct 07, 2025 11:51 am Very disappointed we haven’t had an interview from Pennock![]()
