Now if we could do that every week that would be lovely.
Much more like it, even in the first half we was creating chances and although Carshalton looked dangerous and could've had 2 or 3, we should've had the same.

Second half we kept up the pressure on them and made our chances count and managed to cut out their threats. On another day we could've genuinely had 3 or 4 more.

MOTM is a tough one, could give it to anyone but I'm going for Box, no issue with Pinder getting the sponsors MOTM however.

What a turn round in the second half, well done lads.

First 45 mins there was plenty of effort and we had a few decent opportunities but we didn't hit the target enough and gave the ball away a little too often. Decent shout for a pen as well but the goal from Ollie just before HT was imo a big psychological turning point.

Second half we pressed high up straight from the start and took complete control of the game, but more importantly our quality in possession was miles better and nearly all our attempts were on target.

A deserved win and hopefully the springboard for a decent run.

MOTM - a few contenders today which is good but i gave it to Olly Box. Goals change games and he changed the game.

Deserved winners today.

Nothing much between the teams in the first half. Chances created at both ends, but the keepers rarely troubled. Disappointing to give away another penalty, but at least we kept eleven on the pitch for the second time in four games.

We came out with more purpose after half-time and pressed further up the field. Our opponents were struggling with high balls into the box and corners, throws and free kicks were creating them all sorts of problems. As the second half progressed, it was clear that there would be no way back for Carshalton once Dartford had taken the lead.

There is still much room for improvement, but we are clearly heading in the right direction. Three very welcome points and an improvement in the goal difference. Hopefully more of the same on Monday.

Pinder a worthy Sponsor's man of the match. Mine too.

Well done on capturing the goals Kevin. Glad the team kept you busy!! Long may it continue!! Thanks Kev.

Well done Darts. It's taken us longer than I expected to get our first win on the board, but in listening to the commentaries, it does seem we have been creating chances, but not taking them, in previous games.
So hopefully, today's second half performance, which Will Bass described as some of the best football he has seen us play, gives us something positive to build on, and continue into the game v Ramsgate on Monday.

Well done to Olly Box, my shirt sponsorship player. Keep it up young man. 3 goals now. Congratulations on Dan Smith opening his account too, along with a cracking free kick by Pinder too.

First half we played with lead boots but probably could have led at HT had we taken our chances, despite the fact that carshalton outran our midfield and defence.
In the second half we put on proper football boots and came out with the required energy and pace.
We fully deserved the win and I was hoping for another couple of goals so we could send a message to the other contenders
Motm could have been any one of 5/6 players but j had to go for Olly as he was a menace to Carshalton for the whole game and deserved his two excellent goals
