Looks like Cray Wanderrs were already down to 10 men in the 71st minute when substitute Ebuzoeme received a 2nd yellow card. Seems like a straight red for Tom in the 92nd minute as I can't see any sign of an earlier caution, so Cray finished with 9 men.

Thought they looked decent going forward but we also defended well. Didn’t think they had anything else and they’re particularly poor at the back and defensively.
We had several opportunities that didn’t result in a shot at goal but we got behind them many times. Shane we missed the one c one towards the end.
I thought we were excellent and the better team by some distance. Everyone played their part and performed very well but what a player Olly is, outstanding again.

What a good game of football that was, compared to the match a fortnight ago against Folkestoner. Dover came to play football and had a lot of good approach play but were lacking in the final pass and had their fair share of mis-fortune in front of goal. They were not so good across the back and it always looked as though we could score against them.

Thought that the ref was reasonable, except in his massive inconsistency in the handing out of cards. No way did we commit any more cardable offences than our opponents.

We looked a well-balanced, focussed team who deservedly won against strong opposition. Monday will be different again, but there is no reason why we should not look to win to set up a massive match at PP next weekend that I will sadly miss.

Well done Darts.

Scoring early calmed my nerves,I don't know about the players and a second before halftime was a bonus.
I think we won our individual battles across the field and worked so hard to contain them when they came back at us in the second half.
The ref let quite a bit go which was OK by me though he did seem to flash his yellow card more than necessary.
MoM not easy as everyone played their part - individual moments of pure class from Samir and Ollie but I think the hard work in the engine room of midfield gave us the edge I think so my vote goes to Denzelle.
Two to go and it could be a very big day next Saturday for our last match - unless Riccy and Horsham do the honorable thing and blow it Monday.

Not sure what their fans did but the Dover manager is not happy with them

That was a good game of football and a very good win against decent opposition, so a big well done to Ady and the lads for putting in such a good performance at this important time.

Always good to get the first goal and what a goal from Samir, the third just after HT helped steady things. Dover kept pugging away though but we were very worthy winners.

The lads must take a lot of confidence out of that performance and a couple more like that will be very welcome.

MOTM a very hard call as so many contenders, Okoye, Hill, Bullas all had good games but in the end i went with Olopade. Commanding in the centre of the pitch and chipped in with the second.

Very good attendance today, see you all Monday.

Wow what a game!

Only down side was a few Dover fans abusing their own players and throwing beer over them at the end (shambles as Dover actually played well today).

Was worried about today however I saw a team that want to be champions and everyone put in a shift to be proud of.

MOTM for me goes to Olly, when we have Olly and Samir in the team I always feel we will win the game regardless of opposition in this league as they are coni south level at a minimum. Both have so much ability which is complimented by the rest of the teams work rate etc.

So many match winners on that pitch today Ady and the team must be proud, next mission is keeping the near 2k supporters coming back for more but if we keep showing up and leaving everything on the pitch that will naturally happen.

On to Monday and we could either end the day as champions or in 3rd place this league is so tight! Have a feeling we will need the 89 points to win it but this team is more than capable!

Is Tom and the other Cray player who was sent off today available for Monday or suspended ?

I believe they will be available as i think suspensions don't come into effect until a week later.

Fantastic result and huge attendance that puts money into the club
I believe we were a tiny bit fortunate to be 2-0 at half time but the cushion was very nice to have
Absolutely brilliant goal from Samir. He must be carrying an injury as he just about lasted 45 minutes. Only someone with football talent and above all a football brain can play to good effect when not 100%
I made Denzelle motm but I have to say watching Olly play is a delight. His runs and movement into space is something to behold and when he’s on the ball it’s panic stations for the opposition.
Two more games and 6 points hopefully and it’s job done

Sorry think I double posted the highlights it’s great to have them back again though hopefully we have them for the last two games of the season 👌

Remember how we were feeling with 2 games to go last season? What a transformation and it’s great to be a Dart again 🥳

Two more cup finals. Dover have crept back after a disastrous mid season collapse, and a local Derby can be a big leveller, so three points were a huge return.
Cray Wanderers next and we need absolute focus - a win and we are on the brink of an achievement nobody could have imagined back in October.

A fantastic battling performance from the boys today with everyone giving 100% as expected, my man of the match went to Josh Hill who was solid all game and chipped in with a goal.

Just 2 more cup finals to go where yet again we need everyone on their game and giving 110% in both games to gain those 6pts required to make us champions.

Well Done yet again to Ade & his management team, all the players and not forgetting the excellent fans who gave the boys non stop support and singing the whole time.

My only gripe regarding today and it had nothing to do with the game but getting out of the car park was an absolute joke today.
I know it was a big crowd but it took about 40 minutes just to get out of the car park and up to the lights.
I don’t know if the lights were out of sequence or if the council need to get them adjusted for match days but it was bloody crazy the amount of time you sat waiting for them to change where you got about 8 - 10 cars out before going back to red.

See you all at Cray on Monday.

Love it on the Dover forum saying the atmosphere was flat with no darts singing and over 400 Dover fans there it’s an absolute joke there was 150 at best and they were silent throughout I actually thought the atmosphere was only created by the 1700 plus darts fans today but what do I know lol
