Happy with that though memories of trip to Sudbury. Remember the 6-1 win there a few years back.

I would think that Needham Market are happy with that too.

Having already knocked out Margate, Wealdstone and Yeovil this will not be an easy one for sure. However, a great draw to progress for the Darts.

Very pleased that if we progress, Halifax or Notts County and Wrexham or Boreham Wood will not. I would rather it was a home draw, but we probably go there as slight underdogs. That should do fine.

Needham Market currently sit in 13th place in the Southern League Premier Central division but have between 2 and 6 games in hand on every other team in the league. Only won one of their first 13 league and cup matches but since then they have won 11 and drawn 3 of their last 17 matches. As Pedro mentioned they have knocked Margate, Wealdstone and Yeovil out of the trophy this season so will be no mugs.

and ... managed by the great Kevin Horlock
Re: Fa Trophy 5th round Needham Market v Dartford Sat 12 Feb 2022
We could have drawn a whole lot worse than Needham Market , they did really well at Yeovil , it was interesting to read the Yeovil Managers comments on the game and I feel sure Kingy will learn from them and also use the " AFC Sudbury debacle " to motivate our guys !!
I recall going up there a few years ago , it was a good day out and I think we had a healthy win , hoping history repeats itself !!!!!!!!

Re: Fa Trophy 5th round Needham Market v Dartford Sat 12 Feb 2022
I would have preferred a home game, but it could have been a lot worse and I suspect BOTH clubs will be reasonably happy with this draw. From Needham's perspective being drawn at home and not against one of the teams from the top tier is about as good as they could hope for and the Darts will feel that being one level higher, on paper we surely must have the stronger team and presumably start favourites, if only by a whisker. But games aren't played on paper and we would do well to remember that Needham have already dumped out Wealdstone and Yeovil from the top level, so only an idiot would disrespect such opponents. I just hope we approach the game positively like we did in the first half on Saturday, because if we play like that then I would feel very confident. Should make for a great game and I am very much looking forward to this one.

Here's the highlights of Yeovil v Needham Market:-
Re: Fa Trophy 5th round Needham Market v Dartford Sat 12 Feb 2022
Having watched the highlights of the Yeovil match, I suggest you get to the ground early if you fancy a pie!
Interesting to see how much the Needham keeper was moving before some of the penalties were taken.
It looked like an exciting finish to the match.

What dire footage of that game, did the camera man forget how to use a zoom to clearly see what was happening.
Or was it one of those god awful VEO camera’s that only seem to film at distance and doesn’t keep up with play.

Nice interview with Kevin Horlock in the NLP this week emphasizing what a huge game this is for them(and us of course).Apparently he is a local lad-he said Dartford is his local team and knows us well.
