Much improved! Now we know we CAN play. Once again, luck went against us and we controlled the game until the referee lost control. We still looked the better side and the most likely to score with only ten men. MOTM Callum for me. Never stopped working. Hopefully that’s the last of the back three. Keep improving Darts!

Improved performance all around. Hendon only looked like scoring once when they hit the post, from where I was standing it looked like it had crept in so was relieved to see it bounce back out.

We threatened the keeper on numerous occasions in the first half, aside from one good save he seemed very flappy and wasn't holding onto much. I thought Duane had a very good game causing problems for their defenders. However once again poor final decisions with the final pass choice or not getting a shot away quick enough meant we went into half time 0-0.

Then, once again, we are done by an absolutely scandalous decision. From where I was stood it looked like a completely fair challenge where his foot was not high and he was not out of control. Most of all he won the ball. So the absolute clown of a referee decides to send him off. He then decides to book Duane quickly after for "ignoring him" when he didn't even call out his number to signal he wanted his attention (Two of Hendon's players walked over to the referee believing they were being summoned)

We obviously lost midfield control of the game and didn't really threaten much after the red card which was a shame as I do think had Pinder not wrongfully seen red we would've gone on to win the game.

My MOTM was between Duane, Olarewaju and Callum however I have given the vote to Duane as I don't think he put a foot wrong until he was subbed off, we didn't have the same threat once he was off the pitch.

I thought Pinder was unlucky getting sent off. The ref didn't take in the conditions and it was 50/50. The fact that the ref had been playing advantage in similar incidents with Hendon players rolling around all over the pitch as if being shot throughout the game was a bit annoying.
Hendon weren't a very good side to be honest and as said, how we didn't go in at half time is beyond me. I think we played all our forwards and it was good to see Boxy back on the pitch.
Disappointed we didn't win as we put in a fair stint all over the pitch.
MotM for me Michael Olarewaju.

We did ok .
I thought that we were the better side and apart from hitting the post Hendon never threatened.
Our new keeper had very little to do .
We look like a mid table side to me ,lots of effort but short on quality.

Think the ref is going to be a little embarrassed when he sees the playback of the tackle for the sending off. He clearly got the ball and totally in control, we can clearly get that red card reversed as long as the video is clear but that didn't help us on the day going down to 10 men. Always amazes me how all the crowd can see but one person sees it differently plus he had a linesman the same distance away, did he refer, no. To give a Red he has to have absolutely no doubt, we will see! will I be eating my words ?

I thought Hendon were a pretty poor side which makes it even more annoying we didn't beat them.
Callum had a great game as did Dsane and Olarewaju. Duane made a difference up front. I think we are too dependent on Samir although he had a great game.🎯🎯🎯⚽

I was very pleased with the effort and the intensity put in by the players. The sending off was ridiculous but we never looked like a team down to 10 men. I feel 100% sure with 11 we would have won the game
Hopefully this game was the springboard for an improvement in results
I made Michael Olawarewajo motm. What a performance, a real beast.
Ollie’s press was amazing , he stopped any chance Hendon had in attacking our left
Looking forward to next week
Lastly thank you Hayley and team for arranging and looking after the mascots , my grandson Albert loved it

Quite simply the worst red card decision I've ever seen. Perfectly timed tackle, controlled and fair. Clean contact with the ball, very strong challenge but 100% fair. Even the linesman turned to be crowd and shrugged his shoulders as he didn't agree with the ref either and he was just a few yards away. I've not been so angry at football since Shinners attempted to assassinate Steve Robinson 4 decades ago. Scandalous decision by an incompetent buffoon of a referee and we simply must appeal. The linesman would make a good witness.

We started the game very well and for the first 25-30 mins battered them, two disallowed goals for offside and a few decent saves from their keeper prevented us from taking the lead. They had one decent attempt late on in the first half which hit the post but other than that they never caused us any problems.

Early in the second half Pinder got a red card which at the time i was convinced was a really good 50/50 challenge which he won fairly, seems everyone in the ground other than the ref thought the same. This decision had a major impact on the game and our approach but credit to the players as we still looked by far the better side and other than a late block by Josh, they never caused us any problems at all.

Today was a vast improvement on Tuesday and i thought the players looked more comfortable playing with a back four, the only frustrating thing was for all our dominance we didn't win the game which our performance deserved.

Olarewaju had a decent game but i gave Okoye MOTM, looked more comfortable playing in a back four and didn't put a foot wrong all day.

I think we've got some decent options up front and with a few tweaks/additions elsewhere, we should be able to mount a decent promotion push.

Better yesterday, glad everyone’s cheered up a little bit. Unlucky not to win really, at least Boxy got out there for a bit.

Wasn’t at the game yesterday but reading thus far, Football Referees at whatever level have never ever played the game they are refereeing at any stage in their life!!
They were the last kid picked by either Captain in the school playground, just them & the fat kid every year had leaning on the wall trying to look athletic but were obviously more interested in their train numbers collection!! (Hence their fixation with the notebook & pencil)
They have never pulled a bird in their childhood or adult life, so most of them bat for the other side.
The few who say they know the game say they have a favourite club side & it’s anlways Arsenal (which says it all !!)
They basically haven’t a clue about what is & isn’t a foul out on the pitch!!
Nb; I’d like to exempt SD from the above but if truth be told he is a perfect example of this scenario & I therefore rest my case M’lud!!

I said to the guy next to me I thought the ref seemed decent.
2 seconds later……
My instant reaction was I thought he got the ball from what I could see on the side.
