Really could go either way. A reasonable 1-3 against Cray Wanderers in the trophy followed our 4-0 hammering - which could have been worse - at the Gallagher. Going beyond that, our embarrassingly scratchy 1-0 home win over Billericay came after some decent score lines against lower league opposition in the county cups and some dubious performances elsewhere.
If SK gets the team right and we have a good day, it could be a riot. But there’s probably just as much chance at the moment of a poor performance and a loss, or frustrating draw.
Table is so close at the top now, there is a lot of potential movement in just one matchday.

See all you lovely people there COYD

Like Mikey said who knows which way this one will go. Going by league position we should bag the points, going by the Billericay performance we will make it tough for ourselves. Braintree may have lost yesterday, but they held St Albans in the F.A Trophy even with ten men for most of the game. When you factor in our awful record at Cressing Road, it's not going to be as easy as it looks on paper. Here's the preview https://puredfc.co.uk/

Never easy at the Iron, we are in shaky league form, so for me it’s time to put a shift in. Need to bag 3 points.

That's a very good team Davedart but when you add these to the selection:-

Clarke, Essam, Kedman, Murtagh, Porter, Roberts, Theobalds and Wanadio it makes it a very difficult decision on who should start.
(don't think i've missed anyone other than the two injuries - Allen and Hill).

Braintree has always been a difficult place to get a result but with the quality we have available i'm going to the game full of confidence and i've had a day off the booze so looking forward to another drink tomorrow, hopefully a celebratory one.

This link also shows BBC Radio Kent doing
Ebbsfleet v Billericay
Maidstone v Welling
Woking v Dover
and our match.

Does this mean RK are just doing updates to all the above matches or full commentaries on all of them?

Will the DFC team be doing our own commentary this afternoon?

If they wasn't affiliated to the BBC I would be inclined to feel sorry for Radio Kent if they were tasked with the ordeal of reporting on a Darts match for a full 90 minutes.

The last time I listened to a live commentary on one of our matches by them, we fielded 4 players who no one had ever heard off and never played for us again.

It looks like full commentaries for all of them by the looks of it. Not sure if DFC are doing their own as nothing been mentioned as of yet, so Radio Kent is there if needed!

Kalala, French player last played for Torquay. Straight in. Shaky period = new signing. Hope the lad does well.

I think that he also played for Dover but looks to have some baggage! Maybe, the last chance saloon for him.

According to radio Kent, there is no segregation at the Gallagher today.

Would you feel the need to segregate around 50 visiting supporters? Ah yes, it is Maidstone of course.
Are we to read anything into the absence of Meade, Leonard and Clarke? Too much Xmas turkey? That's my excuse anyway!

They held on for 4 minutes. Now 2-1 down.
