Tuesday evening sees us take on Dartford in the semi-final of the London Senior Cup at Silver Jubilee Park.

The Darts, relegated from the National League South, earned their progression into the last four last night with a late 2-1 win over Cray Wanderers.

Kick-off on Tuesday night is at the earlier time of 7:30pm to allow for the possibility of extra time and penalty kicks, with admission £5 for all adults and £1 for Under 18s and students.

Whilst I will NOT be going tonight I will be interested to see the starting 11 with subs that Ade has decided to ask to play , presumably [ other than possible injuries] will give us an early insight who is likely to NOT be staying for next season ??

Either way hope we progress to the final !!!!!

I have no idea who’ll be playing tonight, but I have a feeling it might be mostly youngsters, and it might make people jump to conclusions. Out-of-contract players are taking a risk by playing, as Ady implied in his last interview. Get injured and they won’t be signing a contract with anyone until they’re fit again. Which could be months away. So I wouldn’t blame anyone for not playing. The ones who don’t play may well be offered a deal with us for next year. Or they might not. We don’t know, but I wouldn’t read too much into tonight’s squad.

Also good to see a number of academy players involved and interesting to see Pindar on the bench, who has banged in some goals for Margate. Looking forward to the updates.

We are really struggling defensively. This could be a long second half.

No complaints though, with half the team made up of academy players we can’t expect too much. It’s clearly a big step up against what looks to be a strong Hendon team.
