Will be my first visit to PP this season, looking forward to it. With a few ex Darts on their books, should be an interesting game.

Seems a while since we had a good cup run. Bradford City rings a bell.
Last season, I had my fix with the FA Cup, when I got caught up following Marine locally, when they kept pushing on, eventually falling to a 0-5 home defeat against Spurs. What with there being no crowds allowed, Marine went ahead and sold virtual tickets, which netted them a further deserved £200,000 for their efforts, plus a televised game.
Now, if that could be the Darts this season, I will continue dreaming.

Looking at the draw….
Carshalton to beat Ebbsfleet; Chichester to beat Maidstone and Braintree v Billericay to end in a thrilling 0-0 (they must both be so pumped for this one!!)
As for us, I’m sure SK will recognise where the two goals went missing last week and rekindle our usual 3-1. Just have to remember to play the first half first (perhaps by not losing the toss?). Hopefully Hythe bring a few.

I wonder if the two new lads will feature today ?
Re: FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round Draw: Dartford v Hythe Town Sat 18 Sep 2021
I doubt Hythe will bring that many they only average just over 200 for home games, would predict around 50.

Remember the 300 Spartans!!
They took on the might of the entire 10,000 strong Abbaysinian Army……only to narrowly lose on the away goal ruling!!

I think that we have been guilty of giving too much respect to lower league opposition over the years, we should be brushing these opponents with our setup/squad. After last week's game, I hope Kingy strengthens up the middle of the park by bringing back Hyde or Luke Allen in place of Husin/Jebb. Not sure you can accommodate both together as neither seems to be able to drive the team forward. Jebb is a funny one as he is a scorer of great goals but it's the bit in between that concerns me.
Let's hope for a positive result and more importantly, see a positive contribution from our wide players, who were very poor last week. Would like to see Leonard and Wanadio start today. COYD

This is officially the first disagreement on the new forum.........Jonty wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 10:22 am After last week's game, I hope Kingy strengthens up the middle of the park by bringing back Hyde or Luke Allen in place of Husin/Jebb. They're all very good players and I'm sure every one will play a big part this season.
I'll catch up with you later in the bar mate for another of our "Discussions"

Yes, they are all good players but I like to see more of a JBA type midfielder who moves forward as opposed to sideways. Anyway, we have to agree to disagree. Sometimes you need a cyber hand grenade thrown into the mix, all this lovey-dovey style is bordering on the Reggie style. Maybe he will return under one of his alter ego's (let's hope not).
Re: FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round Draw: Dartford v Hythe Town Sat 18 Sep 2021
Whilst Reggie's posts were scarily obsessive to the point that they could be interpreted as a precursor to boiling Steve King's bunny should Reg ever feel that the adulation was unrequited, it should be remembered that we are top of the league, unbeaten, have conceded fewer goals than any other team and have scored more. I think there is justification for the forum being a bit "lovey-dovey" at the moment especially if we've achieved all this despite the midfield only being able to drive us "sideways".

Just in case anyone wonders, the scoreboard has been temperamental and may finally have died before today's game. Apologies for the inconvenience

Not so perfect, 1 all.
