Really don’t know what to say about that , it’s the worse I can remember in my years of supporting the club . I so want AD to do well but its just getting worse . I really think he should leave now and let TB take over until the end of the season.
I was the last one in the ground taking down the flags and at least a few of the lads wished me a merry Christmas.
Cant be bothered with a MOTM vote as nobody deserves it .

I was going to make Santa an option - but decided on just the players just to see if anyone gets any votes.
I voted for Chinn as he seemed to cover so much ground today and tried to chase every ball even when it looked a lost cause.
There was only about 4 players that put any sort of effort in today and they were Chinn, Coulson, Miller-Rodney & Sandford, the others were very poor. There keeper only had 2 saves to make from Bradbury whose shot I think was going wide anyway and Chinns very soft header apart from that he didn’t have anything to do.

I am absolutely sick to death of watching this shit at home and only bother to attend purely because I’ve got a season ticket but it’s getting to the point I honestly don’t know if I want to attend games anymore all the time Dowse is in charge.

He needs to either do the honourable thing and give everyone a Christmas present by quitting OR the board HAVE TO SACK HIM.
I can see us getting beat by Welling on both Boxing Day and next Saturday at home. If that happens then Welling will be bringing out a celebration dinner set in their treble triumph over us.

I am absolutely disgusted with the way things are going with our team & club this season, we are now down to 18th and if this carries on we WILL be down in the relegation zone.

Does it have to get that bad and we get that low before the board do the decent thing and get rid of the clown. The gate was given as 907 but I would’ve said there was about 850 maximum and a reasonable amount of those were St Albans fans.
There was only 1 team that ever looked like scoring today and that certainly wasn’t Dartford. I knew that as soon as 1 goal was scored then more was to follow.
Our defence literally just stood still and watched whilst St Albans had a shot blocked and then allowed them to shoot again and score for their 3rd goal. Dowse has seriously lost the dressing room, you could see that some players were just going through the motions today with no real effort there.

Let’s wait for all the bullshit excuses to start coming out from Dowse or one of his band of merrymen in the back room regarding our stuffing today.

Was it the pitch not being plastic enough, was it our injuries, was it Tommy Block not being in the side BUT he’ll be back soon and we’ll win the league OR is it the boards fault for not giving a big enough b***** for the clown to waste.
I’m sure they’ll be another excuse to come out somewhere so let’s wait and see.
Dowse is seriously harming this club though and needs to go NOW whether he jumps or is pushed I don’t care but he MUST GO.

Oh and let’s see when his new signings are coming in, we’ve got a new centre back pairing called Bill & Ben, a new strike partnership called Zippy & Bungal and a new midfield 4 of Tinky Winky, Dipsy, La La & Po.

Ryan Sandford’s place is safe at the moment.

Did he say Blockey was on his way back?
Because if that's the case we'll be alright then, won't we?

I am not going to demand that Dowson is sacked.
But I stood on the half way line for most of the game and behind the opponents goal near the end

Two very poor teams playing out an awful match. Those that went shopping probably had a more enjoyable time.

Why were we playing the most likely scorer wide on the left wing with the selected striker isolated throughout the match? Why did we take off Chin, our most illustrious player? Why do we always have round pegs for square holes?

Sorry to say that we looked clueless today. We never looked likely to score. I left when the third goal went in and the car park was almost half empty by then. That speaks volumes. If we lose to Welling over Christmas, I will find another game to watch before new year. I can't face the prospect of losing to them twice at home in the same season. Maybe I should switch to watching the ladies on Sundays in the new year.

One person on the pitch stood out for all the right reasons today. What a great ref. She let the game flow, communicated with the players and appeared to have their respect throughout. Only one card shown, I believe, and no nonsense feigning of injury or screaming by the players when tackled. What a shame she had to waste her afternoon in charge of such a lousy match between two poor mid-table teams.

Next year will be an election year. I hate to say it, but surely, things can only get better.

Merry Christmas to my fellow sufferers.

Wall and another player went down the tunnel and didn't bother coming over to us fans that did stay, get them both gone as well.

As to who comes in I don't know
Like I suggested last week, though you disagreed Mr Sweet, Tony Burman with Ben Greenhalgh.

No direction, no shape, no desire, no clue! Absolutely poor! Mind you, it is circus season and Dowse is the biggest clown of all time! Get him out now before it’s too late.

I am going to vote for MoM, as I agree with another poster about the very few on that pitch that made an effort, and that is Luke Coulson. Big shout out to Jay Berkauer for another excellent job on the pitch.

Firstly what a gentleman Martin Tyler is , spoke to fans and a top bloke. I went downstairs to the champions bar tonight and it was like we won , laughter and merriment. Dowse stood in the corner , never moved, never socialised, don’t blame him. First half we were the better of two poor teams, second half we folded like a hot mars bar. The answer when 3/0 down was Luke Allan and wall and take off Chinn the best player we had. I stood behind the goal we were attacking and on 85 minutes there were 46 people in stand I counted them. Rumour is we can’t afford to pay him off, question is if we don’t will be playing Ramsgate soon infront of 200 fans?

Impressed with St Albans, played Football throughout and kept the ball well when required.

We did make a couple of decent passes and created a couple of half chances, had we got the first goal then the game may have been different.

Once Jeffers scored against us (as usual) any confidence seemed to drain out of us and St Albans then picked us off almost at will towards the later stage of the game.

Agree with some previous posts, about four or five of the lads really stood out and never gave it up, unfortunately we need everyone to show that same level desire.

A couple of the players are way off the level required currently, unfortunately the subs that were made to improve us made us significantly worse, two of the three looked unfit and way off the pace, potentially as they haven't played enough recently.

Dowse has a real job on his hands to turn this around, I don't think it will be resolved by a couple of quick signings, to replace Baris and Barzey.

The double header against a depleted Welling could be significant games in our season.

Let’s be honest dowse is a useless manager and he put together a useless squad
The defence cannot pass a ball to save their life, there is no midfield and the forwards are cart horses
Only an idiot could put that squad together
The gate is dwindling . 900 there today my arse
We are heading for relegation unless someone puts their brain in gear
Dartford Football Club is the laughing stock of the NLS
What fans we have are so down they can’t even be bothered to raise a voice against Dowson
Our club is having the life sucked out of it

I wish that Dowse would do the honorable thing and resign. His brand of football is quite literally sucking the life out of our great club and the longer he stays on board the more damage he is going to cause. Time for a reset and ask Skip Sawyer to join TB until we can find a suitable replacement at season's end. Ideally, someone younger with a football brain.

You know that its been a bad day when even the lights above won't smash.

Unfortunately I don’t hide behind a keyboard so it makes me a target, everyone knows who I am and I shout from terraces to. I shout loads of support , i so want the team to do well. Standing on a once packed lively vocal stand and excuse me() about twenty wrapped up warm women and men with 15 minutes to go speaks volumes, I’m now torn between wanting us to win and wanting us to lose so we can progress under a young exuberant manager

As I said on a previous thread, I'd like to see someone like Harrop from Braintree join us. He's young, already experienced at this level and will bring fresh ideas.

The question is why would he move from Braintree to us? And especially after re-signing Baris it seems even more unlikely to happen.
